  1. lol sweet well ya cant have your outlaws back they are mine haha. you got a build thread on the go?? was curiouse what you where up to when i heard you where lurking around again ;) also pm turbo grant as we still have his old gt knocking about in bits so je might sell one cheap. cant remeber what condition they are in mind.
  2. haha just cant keep away from starlets can ya craig ;)
  3. thats the centre boare size lads not the hub size. need the width of a gt hub not the centre boare.
  4. Im sooo not going to get into the great chatter debate again lol. So we can all agree to disagree with the does it doesnt its i get board arguing points that have been covered hundreds of times on here. And i dont see how you cant see the lag difference. I've ran no bov and its instantly noticeable when driving. But meh its not my car lol.
  5. Litraly pmsl at this!! My gf is the same lol Car looks great bud, nice choice.
  6. Isnt great for the turbo as the bov is there to empty the pipes after the tb closes. Chatter is the air backing up and trying to stall the compressor blades. It also ads lag to the turbo. But sounds good haha
  7. Ill get deebo to upload the ones he took on his phone, is a savage pic of rbz v on the drive to the ukso meet point.
  8. Haha, i was drivin my lil bro's grey/blue ep80 up with him, is his first car and i was thrashin the beans outta it as its only a 1.0l lol wait till my builds done, ill show ya then haha,
  9. Was an epic day epic turn out and epic start to show season
  10. looks like an insane amount of time and effort in this. start a build thread in the owners blog section when you get some spare time, id quite like to see/read about the work in this car. looks savage! and love the idea of a monster power 5door.

welcome along, best bet is to check the starlets for sale threads on this site. is usualy a safer bet to buy from here as most members have a build thread which means you get a good over veiw of the cars history/ownership
  12. so grants diagnosis was correct then. just go for what the three of us where chattin about dude n gut it and leave it to vent to air with the inlet port blocked off. isnt needed anywho on a bigger power car. still like said to ya better to be a silly fualt then a big issue ;)
  13. HKS sqv the old series 1 version befor the ssqv came out. sounds lush and dont hear them on many cars anymore
  14. aye thats where i got cofuzzed ment td12 not ct12 and as wallece said that was the components. lol two out of three wernt bad lol
  15. right here ya go. tongs ct12 hybrid uses a mix of ct9 rear ct12 front compressor and chra and td04 internals i e compressor wheel etc this was mostly designed for external wg use. the gt spec was a ct9 with a bigger inlet and new compressor wheel design to make for better top end and a ported internal gate. the gt spec 2 was the same with a bigger internal waste gate and penny as there was still creep issues with the first series. this resolved the creep and retained the other charicteristics. the gt spec was rated to 1.2bar but a few ran 1.3 and saw 230-240hp the ct12 hybrid was also rated at 1.2 but some have run 1.3/1.4 and seen nearer 260hp
  16. ^^^^ sound advice their from john tbh
  17. bumping this up guys, have to stress you need to be there bang on or you will be left behind! if you do get left we are the convoy with the white paseo and red glanza s among other gt's and v's bit they are probs the easiest to look out for. we are not gonna hang about come the departure times im afraid.
  18. thats a bit of a strange place for it to snap? contact d2 and complain you never know where it could get you tbh, and as above though im afraid i wouldnt rate d2 atal. as for selling trust me its not worth it as after a month you want another and have to start again lol. I've got a starlet thats not going to be finished now for fest and a bmw that needs a £400 part to sort it and fest is only next week. may turn up in a box with wheels and doors drawn on with a feltpen lol.
  19. very true mate. blown 4efte's can also be aquired through the site. blocks arnt as common as they used to be but certianly your on the right site to obtain one if its needed bud. shipping just the bare block to you shouldnt cost the earth i wouldnt think.
  20. Umm only ones i know of are JE bud but im sure others might do, i know the JE ones used to be around £600/700 a set
  21. Runs very well tbh, never had an issue running bigger turbos and lag realy, however hg's are a pain to get hold of as you will struggle to find 75.5 mm bore hg's. Is thin on the walls but not had a major issue yet and its done 10k since forging 5 years or so back. Thats a shot from the last overhual, never had. An engine faliure with it just a few hg's. One from overlap as it was only a 75mm boare and one from head lift due to shitty cheap head bolts. But that was some years ago, its got more arp bolts in now than id care to count lol n the spec has got crazy but the pistons have always been good for me.
  22. i know what you mean about bore walls i run 75.5mm JE pistons and its a seriously tight fit in a 4efte engine. im gonna keep looking at this build when ever i start to lose the love for building mine back up track is the main aim of my build too just with no competative focus. cant wait for the next update.
  23. hub adaptors id assume. gonna be an awesome build mate, id go for a 20v 4age if ya can as they are better. and aim for a silvertop if pos as the internals are stronger so they take to boost and superchargers better than the blacktops.
  24. wicked build thread!! wish we had more affordable race events oveer here. looks like great fun! what front lip is it on the gt in the first pic?
  25. id do some research on feed back of other engines with their rings tbh as I've not heard of em myself n for the sake of maybe spending more money id want more info on them if it was my build. like you say you dont want to regret it in a month or two :
