Lager brearings are for cranks that have been reground due to scoring you dont run them as an upgrade as such, it just makes a reground crank sit as it should. As for rods etc its all personal choice, i have custom rods from an american hotrod builder, others use lesser known brands to great effect and the masses use popular tried and known brands but in essance its what you are happy to use. Athena are shit hot! I've only read one thread on issues with them and im fairly sure its a warped block or head not the gasket. As they manufacture gaskets for ferrari and moto gp super bikes -
Fuckin savage man!! What tint did you use for the rear lenses etc? Looks awesome like that! Insanely evil looking GT!!!!!

Can buy wepr manis direct from sach. He has a trader section on toyotagtturbo.com or can pm him on here, user name is wickedep. Id buy wepr every time, very well priced and the best manis imo, also lifetime gurantee on all his grear ;) -
I only ran .5 on on td04 as what you need to remeber is yes the oem ecu overfuels alot but at .8 a td04 is flowing waaaaay more air than a ct9. Fuel cut is a basic securtity for preventing damage on the stock set up. So a .8 ct9 airflow is where the fc is towards the limit. At .8 on td04 id say is a shitload more air running than the saftey feature was aimed at anticipating. Which is why engines get damaged. Fuelcut is an oem feature for an oewm turbo set up its not a bullet proof vest for the engine.

Same as I've got no fuel rial, to finish the fuel system with, ecu isnt wiried in or mapped, inlet still want tweaking and interior is only about 70% done. So IF i can sort the bmw ill be driving that by the looks of it but currently thats got an issue too haha. Might be walkin at this rate!!!

Crooks stanced now going for big power build
shorty replied to Crooks's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
khumo are normaly a good tyre. have to agree the tread looks low over the whole tyre. im not suprised though as tyres arnt designed to run on a 45° angle so to speak, and -3.7 is a fair old bit of camber! whynot get wider fibreglass arches to the wheels under?? with stance comes tyre issues unfortunatly especialy on such camber and alot of strech, your almost running on side wall realy still perseverance and im sure you crack it just need to get the right combo i guess. -
impounded car = man points!!!

savage as fook! you got a graph? -
can some times help if you can source a second pair of hands.and need to be careful of the crank pully on the chassis
-
it can be done with leaving tge box etc in. i did on mine. and on my v. just drop all the mounts and tace it an angle, with the gearbox lower than the engine and the cambelt side higher. its close but its doable. I've done a good few times mate ;)

seeing the old 4efe in bits like that brings back memories seems like so long ago when i started mine good progress though dude. steady and consistant is the key!! you will be boosting in no time at this rate.

Another set of melted pistons after remap...
shorty replied to funny onion's topic in Negative Feedback
as has been stated i dont think the timing needed re checking if sam said it was bang on then i dont doubt that atal! i think the ripping the map from the ecu is a key clue right now as it will help show how the fueling has been set as has been said its possable that any other aspect of the fueling system could just as easily be at fualt. which i realy hope now its running again that its not as i presume its still same pump and filter, lines, regulator etc. if you can please rip the map as atleast that prevents any more speculation of it being td at fualt. -
i personaly wouldnt buy that ecc 5e any how as they didnt build it and its not the greatest spec tbh. lush kit though dude you not plannin on tracking the car with a straight through i guess gonna be a weapon mind

Didnt realise you had done all four in thought was just the one that was fooked. Not good atal. Pistons dont just melt, could probably count on one hand how often these threads apear over the years. Id pull the map off the ecu just to see if it sheds any light. Got to explore all avenues. Like you said, no finger pointing but doesnt look good tbh. -

Also agree with grant, bed em in the hard way! The late great mr b did the same with there sprint gt's as i was on the phone to him just as the where bedding the white one in lol and my 10k mile old forged engine was beded in the same way when first built and still is as mint as the day it was built!!! Taggys redline fun (aka trying to gas me while i was tented) was not the down fall of his engine to be fair -
