Only looking for around 300 mark tbh as the current car its in is for track so want spool and response. once its running though will guage from there if a bigger turbo and more power is still usable for track.
-
Yep same shell different floor pan ;)
-
Yep same doors. ep82 skin will have holes in the lower third for the body kit panels to bolt to but is an easy fill over tbh.

4e dude but with huge pistons so its 1386cc lol and devon thats exactly what it was for. the rods where custom made too and the previous owner revved to near 9k! I honestly couldnt say for crank costs but to have a full rebuild with je forged pistons, crank work and custom rods cost the last owner just over 5k 8years ago. we have added greatly to the spec in the time I've had the engine and its bomb proof!! Lol

Ahhh man cant pay till friday soooo should of paid earlier!! Any chance i can pay for two tickets a day late? Cheeky i know but after a wage screw up and fest 2 im super skint! failing that is there likly to be any drop outs nearer the time? -
Matters not dude. cant realy see it that well im just anal about it because i LOVE the grey garnish looks miles better imo. and the replacement cost 30quid so no biggy bud. Well as I've barley touched the car (no shock there) i have howevr been playing with the gt loom. i know have it all mapped out as to what i need to swap about and splice into for both my jdm rev/speed hud unit and also to get the mr2 tb and tps working off the oem ecu ;) also next dry day the jam bonnet will be swapped onto the car. it will stay matt black for a while before it goes matt white and gets the uksc web addres

Currently 0 lol im still sorting the car out atm. i bought it from a lad 6yrs ago who ran 325 with stock head and no arp main bolts then i ran 2 different ct9 hybrid set ups then a td04 set up then rebuilt the engine and added more parts and vf24 set up and im sticking it in my 4wd ep85 with the vf24 again. should see arond 300ish when its done this time.

Realy?? Says who? If its treated with the corect processes after knife edging it should be as strong if not stronger! Mine has had alot of abuse for over 10k miles and that pic is around 6weeks old. is not a mark on it and as i say its had alot of heavy heavy abuse lol
-
It just allows for less rotating mass and for less resistance tbh. id say response is a tad better but not on a massivly noticeable level and yes its lighter bit again not by a crazy amount. thing is its a small difference on its own but with a fully ballenced bottom end and a light weight fly its all complimenting eachotger for a bigger improvement over stock. as a single mod i wouldnt waste the money but as part of a high spec build up i personaly think every thing you do has a direct effect on other components and for the best result all parts should be improved apon. Here is a stock jdm 4

Nice dude. good to see you getting back into it. -
Great day! track looked wicked to drive on and the starlets defo held their own on track!!! 5hour drive home sat in silverstone traffic sucked a bit though lol
-
Any engine engineering place should do it but make sure its done right. i have one in my forged engine and its a shame you cant see it lol its stunning to look at. mine was nitempered (think that was what it was called) too wich is a heat treatment process to ensure the crank remians strong.

Pm price delivered to southampton for oem map sensor and coil/ignitor pack please

Run with out a dv then with i gaurentee you you see quicker spool. I've tried plenty of turbo setups and combos over the years and flutter slows down turbo respones. your mapper may do well using gas to help spool and head work and all that but even after all that if you add a dv you will still see improvements. removing the compressed air from the run and mainly from befor the tb aids response.
-
Lol futter isnt good full stop. if it was ok why would manufacturers waste mony on producing recirc valves?? Next you will be saying anti lag isnt bad for turbos either.
-
Dont see why not like i say good few plug n plays lift to around 8000rpm think mines and sard iirc maybe worth a quick search but should be fine bud. Edit. didnt realise its because power is dropping of early though. raising wont help mate

shorty replied to the_sly_EP's topic in Starlet Parts For Sale
Matt u gay lol i realy want the seat haha wish id known last week! Sooooo you or any of the lads coming to fest 2?? Lol -
Why not? Some plug and play ecu' raise it another 500rpm or so. just dont go too mad!
-
^^^ A-men brother!!
-
More boost more flutter. its a bigger turbo so .6 bar is like blowing down a cave, its not realy doing much to push the turbo. also flutter is gay!! It kills turbos fact! Its called compressor surge and its air backing up against the turbo and even more comicaly makes the car more laggy!!

A fair few cars get broken for parts over here dude. is like anything on a good day it sells on a bad day it wont. Market is nothing like it was 3-5 years ago atal!!
