No spacer is needed. its a bit of the inner bell metal think its like .5mm so the bell pysical fits on the hub and yes astra. the centre bore is bigger than a starlets. the facct that the bell sits tight on the hub will centre the disk as apose to the centre bore centering it. an adaptor coller can be made for the centre bore if your that bothered but isnt realy needed as the snug fit prevents travel. Again no spacer is needed. both me Nd grant ran this set up for ages with no isses atal.

Only needs enough ot the bell to make it sit tight over the hub as this helps centre the disk. just measure the hub and your away recomend ebc yellows on a stock or grooved disc. Stops very well. Forgot to add. levin ae111 twin pots need a small amount dremeling/grinding off the centre rib of the carrier where it sits to the hub. celica gt165 twin pots dont as the carrier is thinner from stock on that part.

I run a port polished and port matched head, cruise valve springs, 265 billet cams and have a custom inlet and mr2 tb. i cant comment on the pp head and inlet as shes not up and running yet but the cams and springs where on the last head i ran on my v and cams made the car far lazier off boost and till 4.5k rpm they didnt seem to aid or restrict spool after that though the car pulled like fook!! All depends what you are trying to get out of the engine and at what point. people have rightly proven no real head work is required to run 350hp as above you can easily overspend and go to far for the

Right, what engine oil does everyone use?
shorty replied to Starlet-Matt's topic in MOT & Maintenance
Mobil super 2000 semi syth 10w-40 ran my forged on it for 7odd years for over 10k miles. Any time the engine is apart i check it all through and its uber mint inside!! Best oil to use imo. fully is to thin for these old engines imo. -
Haha thats what i thought when i read your post

Fussy much lol good luck with the hunt dude is a few tidy stock ish examples still floating about tbf

Cheers lads and is indeed jays old inlet. have an mr2 tb that goes with it too. tbh the inlet,tb,cams, and port polished and port matched head with the bb turbo and short ratio box should all make for a very quick car i hope! Its all in the aid of a good track weapon as opose to a fast road starlet. time will tell i guess. Big thanks to ollie454 too as i picked up my pair of trd 4points off him tonight too

I agree with foggy hands down!! The internet is an easy way to pick out a car worth having with ease. and again fb and the like dont help with peoole posting when where and what they are up to all the time. as for ireland i feel sorry for you lads but its nowhere near as bad over here tbh. car crime isnt a big thing in england realy compared to other crimes that happen here. id say drugs and tax evasion lol english are to lazy to comit a crime envolving physical effort most of the time lol
-
Should be fine mate, bell housing is the same as a gt on the box. solong as you do fly and clutch cant see an issue tbh.

Off the top of my head i cant remeber the name of em but its in the first few pages of my build some where if you want the name. if you ever damage them (hope you dont) ill buy em off ya as id like a spare set of the bolts for if i refurb mine again lol.

-
Nick grimshaw is a moany prick! I hate him.and he winds me up to f**k. im gutted and i for one wont be listening to radio one breakfast anymore! Its great that thay want to target a younger audience but if its the older people up early driving to work that tune in exactly what young audience are they expecting to target???? Radio 1 have just made the most epic fail EVER!!!!!!!
