  1. It just allows for less rotating mass and for less resistance tbh. id say response is a tad better but not on a massivly noticeable level and yes its lighter bit again not by a crazy amount. thing is its a small difference on its own but with a fully ballenced bottom end and a light weight fly its all complimenting eachotger for a bigger improvement over stock. as a single mod i wouldnt waste the money but as part of a high spec build up i personaly think every thing you do has a direct effect on other components and for the best result all parts should be improved apon. Here is a stock jdm 4efe crank a stock 4efte you can already see the 4efte crank is of a sleeker shape as stock than an na crank and my knife edged 4efte As you look at mine you can see the overall shape is sleeker and polished to remove as much drag as possable but again the 4efte crank is already an improvement over the na crank. so aplication depending you arnt nessiseraly loosing out buy not running one and plenty of lads run big power without them. it all depends on what you want out of the engine and what set up you will run i guess. Hope that helped a little and sorry for the crappy pics lol
  2. Nice dude. good to see you getting back into it.
  3. Great day! track looked wicked to drive on and the starlets defo held their own on track!!! 5hour drive home sat in silverstone traffic sucked a bit though lol
  4. Any engine engineering place should do it but make sure its done right. i have one in my forged engine and its a shame you cant see it lol its stunning to look at. mine was nitempered (think that was what it was called) too wich is a heat treatment process to ensure the crank remians strong.
  5. Yes we are dude not a clue what time though mate we are very disorganised this time as amjads not there lol
  6. Link for bungs please hun also you not cable tie or jubilee clip any of you vaclines in your bay??
  7. not early enough dude take around 3-3.5 hours to get there so will be leaving by 4.15 id say lol
  8. Pm price delivered to southampton for oem map sensor and coil/ignitor pack please
  9. Run with out a dv then with i gaurentee you you see quicker spool. I've tried plenty of turbo setups and combos over the years and flutter slows down turbo respones. your mapper may do well using gas to help spool and head work and all that but even after all that if you add a dv you will still see improvements. removing the compressed air from the run and mainly from befor the tb aids response.
  10. Lol futter isnt good full stop. if it was ok why would manufacturers waste mony on producing recirc valves?? Next you will be saying anti lag isnt bad for turbos either.
  11. Dont see why not like i say good few plug n plays lift to around 8000rpm think mines and sard iirc maybe worth a quick search but should be fine bud. Edit. didnt realise its because power is dropping of early though. raising wont help mate
  12. Matt u gay lol i realy want the seat haha wish id known last week! Sooooo you or any of the lads coming to fest 2?? Lol
  13. Why not? Some plug and play ecu' raise it another 500rpm or so. just dont go too mad!
  14. ^^^ A-men brother!!
  15. More boost more flutter. its a bigger turbo so .6 bar is like blowing down a cave, its not realy doing much to push the turbo. also flutter is gay!! It kills turbos fact! Its called compressor surge and its air backing up against the turbo and even more comicaly makes the car more laggy!!
  16. A fair few cars get broken for parts over here dude. is like anything on a good day it sells on a bad day it wont. Market is nothing like it was 3-5 years ago atal!!
