    Why are rear drums bad on track? The rear breaking is minimal anyway so cant realy see an issue if you running a good compound shoe?

Fully is shit on older stuff. the guy i bought my levin off ran fully and it get so thin when hot that it slowly makes its way past rocker cover seals etc so dribles over the engine and stinks lol. dont get that issue with semi. have run semi on starlets for 7years or so 5+on a forged engine and its never given me issues and looks after the internals perfectly. the 4/5e engines are 20 odd years old they where never made to run fully and i honestly.dont understand the obbsesion some people have with wanting to run a modern oil on an old engine tbh. run semi mate and you will know your not going to get an issue and also have spotless internals ;)

  9. Ahh man should of binned the lump or boared it to 1098 on offset boares my moster started as a racing green miss her baaaaaad but lost site of her so cant get her back starlets have certianly filled the gap very well!! You will be hooked in no time ;)

  12. Rust that bonnet up dude that will help and be watching this as i think your the first rat look on here. i had a good few minis inc a 1330 race tuned monster. but trust me after boost theres no going back!! Coilovers and boost and starlets come to life!

  19. Lol cam caps are pre numbered marked with an arrow an i for inlet e for exhuast and numbers for their order. buckets shims springs and valves how ever are crucial to be marked mate. collets for the valve springs dont matter either though as they are all the same ;)
  20. Neo is litraly a fuel level controller. but more acurate than a rrfpr and fcd alone. hks actuator will alow for more boost though just gotta wind the actuator arm on it. As for walbro fit it yourself bud ait hard tbh just fookin stinks the car out with fuel for a bit lol.

Roughly 100quid or so at a guess for set up and i wouldnt panic. i was td04 @.6 for aaaaaagggges and ragged the tits out of it. oem fuel cut is .8 on the small ct9 so .6 on the td04 shud fuel ok till very high revs where it will prob lean out ever so slightly. the oem ecu overfuels a fairbit when more air flows so .6 should cuase no damage dude.
  22. The neo will need setting up as its a furl controller. at 1 bar you will get around 210-220. And it doesnt sound dodgey. The fcd allows the neow to control fuel above the preset oem fuel cut. a walbro pump is around 70 quid iirc. and by all meas set the boost to a bar and not set up the neo but id estimate you will blow your engine in less than a week lol. In short its all there bar the pump to run a bar but you must have the neo set up for it to boost 1bar also a neo set up is far cheaper than a remap on an ecu.
  23. Welcome dude always good to see anothe local lad on the site. check you insurace costs before you go to power mad though gets expensive on v's when modded right up. my last one was silly money to insure all things considered.
  24. 4e uk na isnt baffled 4e fte or jdm 4e na are from what I've gathered. And would make sense the pumps are the same was just trying to eliminate ideas. I've not realy heard of low oil pressure issues before tbh. was yours always good jay? Id assume if its the same pump setup and a 4efte sump amd pick up then pressure would be the same?? Im gonna guess the pressure switch on the bottom of the block is also the same then yea?
  25. I would assume it was to do with the longer oil route through the turbo etc and maybe a weaker pump? At a total guess also is the 5e sump baffled? This maybe a part of it too if the oil is moving away from the pickup all the time?
