  5. Lol cam caps are pre numbered marked with an arrow an i for inlet e for exhuast and numbers for their order. buckets shims springs and valves how ever are crucial to be marked mate. collets for the valve springs dont matter either though as they are all the same ;)
  6. Neo is litraly a fuel level controller. but more acurate than a rrfpr and fcd alone. hks actuator will alow for more boost though just gotta wind the actuator arm on it. As for walbro fit it yourself bud ait hard tbh just fookin stinks the car out with fuel for a bit lol.

Roughly 100quid or so at a guess for set up and i wouldnt panic. i was td04 @.6 for aaaaaagggges and ragged the tits out of it. oem fuel cut is .8 on the small ct9 so .6 on the td04 shud fuel ok till very high revs where it will prob lean out ever so slightly. the oem ecu overfuels a fairbit when more air flows so .6 should cuase no damage dude.
  8. The neo will need setting up as its a furl controller. at 1 bar you will get around 210-220. And it doesnt sound dodgey. The fcd allows the neow to control fuel above the preset oem fuel cut. a walbro pump is around 70 quid iirc. and by all meas set the boost to a bar and not set up the neo but id estimate you will blow your engine in less than a week lol. In short its all there bar the pump to run a bar but you must have the neo set up for it to boost 1bar also a neo set up is far cheaper than a remap on an ecu.
  9. Welcome dude always good to see anothe local lad on the site. check you insurace costs before you go to power mad though gets expensive on v's when modded right up. my last one was silly money to insure all things considered.
  10. 4e uk na isnt baffled 4e fte or jdm 4e na are from what I've gathered. And would make sense the pumps are the same was just trying to eliminate ideas. I've not realy heard of low oil pressure issues before tbh. was yours always good jay? Id assume if its the same pump setup and a 4efte sump amd pick up then pressure would be the same?? Im gonna guess the pressure switch on the bottom of the block is also the same then yea?
  11. I would assume it was to do with the longer oil route through the turbo etc and maybe a weaker pump? At a total guess also is the 5e sump baffled? This maybe a part of it too if the oil is moving away from the pickup all the time?

  13. Front filter, fmic and exhuast with decat shouldnt mess the fuel consumption up too much tbh. more boost n bigger turbos will usualy swallow more fuel, mapping depending of course

Id say get the gt lol my levin is a 1.6vvti 20v and 160hp and drinks like fook when your on the vvti range and they say vtec is one of the more agresive valve timing switchovers so can only imagine how thirsty that will get. thing with a gt is dont wanna drink fuel then stay off boost simple and off boost its a fairly nippy and manageable drive. that is my honest opinion.
  16. Blue spots are probs just heat from heavy stops tbh. unless you noticed any juddering when slowing down?? Also like to add guys tgese are my old v's setup and i shit you not I've never ever seen calipers this mint!! They where imported from japan by me from a very very low mileage levin!! Grant will back me on this too they are amazing brakes and this is a stupid silly cheap upgrade for anyone!!! These will stop you very very quickly!!!
  17. Windows down and drive faster = WIN! Then again that said my levin has aircon still so just drive that on a day like to day. as the 85 still dont run i cant push it fast enough to keep cool lol
  18. They are brilliant engine! Seems to be mainly ae111's floating around and as you say mainly ireland but seen a few of the engines on egay for around 800-900 quid. supercharged it would be a slut! Bet even na with no real mods its a lovley engine tbh. And your right grant was a normal road trip for us haha didnt even see that curb just drove straight at it! Glad i was only doing 10mph lol
