    With the bolt sounds like someone has crossed threaded the hole if I was u and could get a tap and die set I would re tap the hole and die the bolt as eventuly it will fail if not sorted

    If u do brake dibs on the sard rfpr and gadge and also rear bumper if it has optional rear lip ?

    I agree with the continuity check how ever u can get that even if the wire was damaged or say carroied what I would do is do a risistent check as well as that would show signs or corrosion. How ever disconnect the engine ecu before this other wise u can risk blowing up the ecu as it will but voltage down the wire when u do the test.
