  1. Pretty sure the bolts are rubbing against the sandwich plate, it's a fidanza flywheel anyone had any issues fitting one?
  2. Right just spent all weekend fitting a new clutch and flywheel to my glanza, start it up to get this horrible grinding noise, I'm thinking it's the bolts sticking out the back of the flywheel face has anyone come across this before?
  3. Need to change my clutch soon just wondering what's best to put on the spline shaft? The kit usually comes with a little tube of grease but I've not got one
  4. Just ordered one of these looks good cheers
  5. I bought one of td's ones earlier but I got a message saying there out of stock and may be 3 weeks till there in again.
  6. After a new genuine clutch release bearing for my glanza, just tried to buy one from eBay but there all sold out Message me payment waiting Cheers
  7. Can anyone else shed any light on this? Gonna replace the input shaft front bearing (the one around the shaft with the splines) and put in a genuine release bearing all along with a new paddle clutch kit, Hopefully this will sort it, has anyone else cured this rattling noise? I've come across is on 7 different starlet boxes sure other people have to
  8. looks just what im after, put in a used organic clutch plate when fitting a td04 and its not lasted long at all, the clutch cover and bearing are sill good just slips really bad, anyone used one of these helix clutch plates? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HELIX-AUTOSPORT-PADDLE-CLUTCH-DRIVEN-PLATE-FOR-A-TOYOTA-STARLET-TURBO-EP81-EP91-/262108402046?hash=item3d06e0d17e:g:QUkAAOSw5VFWKfwq
  9. As above after a clutch my stage 1 organic exedy can't cope with my td04. Looking for good condition paddle clutch, or preferably new but at a good price message me
  10. Any closer pics of the clutch? And thickness any chips in it?
  11. Have u got some more closer pics of the clutch? Have u got some more closer pics of the clutch?
  12. I've got a spare gearbox I'm gonna split, wanna know how to do the input shaft bearing, I've watched a video on how to do it on a civic and it didn't look to bad. Has anyone got any tips or advice when it come to opening up the box? Many thanks
  13. Be nice if its the release bearing but I'm thinking it's the shaft. It doesn't do it while driving. On tick over u can see the selector fork shaking about a little. It didn't do it with my old gearbox, I fitted a gt box and a used organic clutch plate, and it's rattled lots since fitted, I don't think it's the release bearing as it's the same one I used before as I knew it was good
  14. I've been told lay shaft bearing, but could it be release bearing? Will be very happy if just a full clutch kit would solve it but think it's internal. Anyone done a lay shaft bearing?
  15. I get this rattling noise coming from my clutch / gearbox I've come across it on a few cars, it's on tick over and goes away when u put your foot on the clutch pedal. Is this the clutch of is it from the gearbox? I'm pretty sure my clutch is on the way out but if there's a problem with the gearbox I will get that done to, I've been told lay shaft bearing?

    Paddle clutch

After a paddle clutch, only in need of the plate itself exedy preferred my stage 1 organic is struggling with the td04
  17. Haha love it! Had this turn up yesterday 54mm inlet it's off an old cortina carb lol hopefully this should fit alright I'll post an update later
  18. Or is there anything that can go over the top of the mesh for extra filtration? I though about remote oil filter, this would work, the mesh is fine for bigger stuff but just look at how black paper filter can get
  19. I can get a silicon elbow on there but where the oil filter is it sticks right into it. I love the sound of the mesh but I'm just picturing my intercooler getting full of crap. Anyone used one of these on there turbo? http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/201448815026 Looks like it would give better filtration that just the mesh
  20. http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/262140278369 Was this one the quality looks good, arrived within a week, fitted it now done bout 150 miles and cannot fault it, solved my smoking problem and runs well. I'll put an update in a couple months
  21. After replacing my turbo core at the weekend I noticed there was a layer of grey dust, the problem I have is I kinda need the mesh because if I put a silicon hose off the turbo for a air filter the hose is pressed up against the oil filter and restricts the air flow, is there any better filter alternative to mesh? I used a £4.50 sieve from tesco :-)
  22. I've read on Saab forums about them and yet to hear anything bad, im feeling pretty positive bout it I'll post up a review in a couple months
  23. Anyone tried one of these before? It's a Chinese td04 core, I paid £90 delivered for it thought I'd give it a try instead of risking buying another smokey td04, anyone use one? Any problems with it? The quality looks good
  24. I literally cut the plug off and wired the horn button to that wire, was a long wire though to compensate for the movement of the steering wheel
