  1. My opinion: black wheels on silver cars look pants it makes the wheels look tiny either white or silver on silver cars
  2. Cheers fishy, I prefer mkiv's anyway I just thought the mkiii would be a good option as they're much much cheaper to buy. I'll just wait and see what happens you never know I could end up with a spanking good job and be able to afford a decent mkiv. But we'll see.
  3. rofl, that would piss the police off so much being told they are "outranked"
  4. There's a difference between planning ahead and dreaming. I would prefer a mkiv, but it as said already you can't predict the future anything could happen. A mkiii is somewhat affordable, aslong as I find a mint one. Anyway, all I wanted was to know if anyone knows any good websites or anything with good info on mk3's. There doesn't seem to be as much info out there for mkiii's as there is in here for Starlets, either that or I just haven't found it yet. (Unless I find a decent mkiii forum)
  5. You can get MKIV's for as low as £3k (N/A's), but I'm fussy, it HAS to be a manual/turbo/unmodded. Which will probably be out of my price range. Whereas anyone could go out and buy a mk3, aslong as they took the time to find a mint one. I quite like the look of mk3's especially in black. Like this one for example, I'm not too keen on the wheels but you get the idea:
  6. Calm down mate I understand all that, it's only going to happen if I have 4 years no claims, but I'd rather find out now what sort of problems come with the car rather than "dreaming" for four years only to find out that it's a worthless bag of shit. All I've found so far is blown head gaskets are common with the 7MGTE
  7. Yesterday I was messing about on the insurance websites and to my surprise I found out that when I'm 21 I can buy AND insure a mk3 Supra Turbo for the same price as I've bought and insured the Starlet for now. Could also get insured for LESS on a mk4! But I doubt I'll have £10k to buy a good unmolested manual one... Anyway, does anyone know of any good places (don't say google) to read up on mk3's, as I've loved Supras for years, and am quite happy that I only have to wait for four years instead of the 10 or so that I expected. I tried to sign up to mkiiisupra.net but the elitist b
  8. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=LBSA7bQNmRg&...feature=related rollerblading ftw
  9. my boot sometimes leaks anyway, it's strange I can't seem to find where the leak is coming through because the water always goes in the middle it's like it just appears there randomly
  10. Same here apart from I wasn't at any meet Water was splashing up the car and couldn't see shit
  11. Well my dad was driving and he was thrashing it mostly lol here's the location of my air filter - I think I'm safe with it being in that location I just wanted to know if there's anything else I should check if there's any bad places that water shouldn't be in
  12. haha you should have laughed in his face when he failed at writing the ticket
  13. How much did you pay for your rear ARB and what make is it?
  14. Yesterday it was absolutely pissing down and some roads it was sort of flooded, puddles were huge and going through some of them water was splashing up basically just covering the whole car and splashing everywhere... it was fucking bad, worse than any rain I've seen before. Anyway, is there anything to worry about/anything worth checking on the car or should it all be fine aslong as no water got up the air intake? (Which I don't think it did as you'd have noticed it straight away wouldn't you)
  15. rofl's you mean "my bedroom" - "we can play stick my willy in you"
  16. UKSC Live - The Starlet Information Network that's the best one IMO simple and sounds professional
  17. Have a quick look through the handbook it might be in there.
  18. Heat wrap on the exhaust mani and some of the exhaust to keep the heat in, and reflective tape stuff on the intake/intercooler pipes to keep heat out.
