Rich I just noticed your sig, you are running lean? You have Glanza S injectors right? Have you tried going back to the standard Starlet injectors?
-
Agreed, I think the 4EFE has some potential, it's just most people either stop after the basic mods or move onto the Glanza/GT/5EFE/4EFTE. 140 does seem a bit wild though, 120 is a bit more realistic.

Don't downgrade to XP, upgrade to 2000.
-
Kids these days, function over form is for winners, none of this fancy stuff. Not that the older ones are boring, unless you're on Windows 95 or something.
-
Pretty much the same as on the 4EFE Sam but it should be easier to reach as the 5E has more power in the first place.

I used to like Windows 98 SE. Solid operating system. But Windows 2000 is by far the best for me, it's more stable than any of this new stuff, XP is full of shit and is over-complicated, haven't tried Vista and don't plan to. I used to have Windows Millenium Edition, that was some fucking seriously unstable shit. I've been using 2000 for the past few years and can't fault it.

Firefox is alot easier to use, especially with this new version (atleast I think so).

Firefox ftw Opera is the last resort. Fuck Internet Explorer.

As said before... Corolla/JDM Inlet Manifold Either a good panel filter in the standard airbox, or an open filter with a nice supply of cold air (IMO open filter is best, airbox seems restrictive to me) Exhaust manifold, such as an OBX or Pacesetter And a good exhaust system, make sure it's no bigger than 2" diameter and no silly 5" backbox Also make sure the car is running nicely, with good sparkplugs/HT leads/dizzy cap/rotor arm etc... and some fresh oil Advancing the ignition timing could help too but I don't know much about that and want to look into it myself. Most people will stop af

I had problems too, I think it was just problems with the server? Also, if you aren't using Firefox, you shouldn't be on a computer. Firefox = best.

Looks good mate, without spoilers Starlets look silly IMO. Just needs some late spec Glanza lights on there now. ;)

nice one cheers si

They're smart as fuck mate, if it was me I'd get the very outer part of the "lip" done silver, not going as far in as the red was. But then again they really do look good as they are.

Also could a mod edit the topic description please, where it says "with pics at last" could you change it do "update on page 2" or something like that? Thanks

Thanks Joz, it has made driving it more fun. Having the filter in that location definately works well. ;)

Nah, I bought the reducer/pipe/filter all seperate. It's an Apiro filter. I was going to move the rad accross and have the filter behind the bumper but didn't want long piping. So I've put it as low as I could get it behind the battery, so it's getting a decent amount of air from "underneath" aswell as the standard plastic pipe thing is pretty much on top of it. It's given a decent gain, the only thing is I think it will be good for winter while it's cold, but it's probably going to be shit in the summer when it's warm. At the end of the day you can't complain at less than £50 for a

Next is just a bit of maintenence, cam belt and alternator belt change, new brake pads and shoes, everything else save up. And yeah postman pat came at last, was definately worth the wait, much more fun driving with it. Only thing is, my dad thinks he's 17 again.

Lookin good mate, just need the spoiler now. Liking the hardhat lol. Get some pics of your filter/engine bay, I got mine on today, fucking love it. (Check my topic for pics).

cheers mate

Here are a couple of shots from last month but didn't bother to post as only these two came out half decent: I quite like this shot And I like this one of the back end And today... got my air filter on: If you look closely I've got the air sensor in the pipe, drilled a hole in there and stuck the rubber bit from the standard airbox in there. And the filter is tucked under there nicely, also making use of the standard airfeed pipe. And last but not least an engine bay shot that came out shit but I was trying to be quick, you can't really tell from here but my engine bay is actua

Do you have things on like wipers/rear windor demister/heaters/lights/etc...?
-
Yes [x] No [ ] No idea what Fable II is but ok.

Checked those threads earlyer mate, did a bit of searching but didn't find much. I don't think it would be too hard to get a nice rounded inlet chamber, just depends on how everything is cut/welded/filed. 3 inches (76mm) would be nice, as that's the piping size for most airfilters. bedtime for me was awake all last night and only just starting to feel tired ;)
-
Which would mean having to do custom work, but, I think this has potential. Just a matter of getting a guinea pig throttle body and manifold to chop up and weld. Will PM rmsnoel tommorow, cheers Joz.
