£850 White, N reg, new engine & radiator with 67k miles, new clutch/cam belt/alternator belt/oil & filter. Will have 12 months MOT and 6 months tax. Good little car reason for sale is I want to get the CRX on the road and can't afford both cars.

This morning = shitty mood. After working on the Starlet in the sun = good mood.
-
I'm the same, haven't had a proper good drive for ages. Driving flat out right on the limit is definately addictive.
-
I'm not falling for that shit lol, is it one of those make-you-jump pictures?

My Starlet had over 105k miles and would still be running now if it wasn't for the radiator failing. It's for sale if you're interested, it now has a new engine with 67k miles on it, new radiator, and I've done the clutch, cam belt, alternator belt, oil & filter, etc... and it will have 12 months MOT on it soon once the rear brakes are done. If you end up buying that one on ebay don't worry about the miles, just make sure it's got good service history and it will be fine.

I think it might need to be a bit bigger mate but this pic is getting my vote it's a fucking beast! I love mk1 GT's!

Her name is "gina" which I assumed was short for "vagina" which is why I simply asked for "pics".

Lightly tint the front windows so it looks "legal" and then a bit darker on the back ones please.

I know exactly how you feel mate, I love Starlets but I just hate the lack of power from the 4EFE. It's an amazing engine in it's own rights but two-digit power figures aren't enough. Obviously in everyone's ideal world we'd all want a 4WD turbo. How long is it until you're 21? How much spare money do you have left each month?

Yeah that's correct, you shouldn't need any fuelling mods when running a plug & play ECU (up to 1 bar should be fine).
-
Don't use a FCD with a JAM ECU! You don't need it. The ECU does everything on it's own.

Same here, I absolutely thrashed my first Starlet, almost 10 thousand miles of pure 6k rpm abuse. (Bought with 65k on the clock). My second Starlet had done 104k when I bought it and would still be running now if it wasn't for the radiator failing and losing all the water. It still started and drove (with no power) after the engine was cooked though. The engine I've just put in it has done 67k and had no problems getting it to run after fitting it, it was pretty much swap it straight over and it started and ran fine straight away.

What a disappointment I was expecting to see a Supra.

I finished swapping the engine in my Starlet yesterday and just took it for a quick drive to run it in a bit, was a bit shitty, not lumpy or rough or anything but definately not firing on all four cylinders. Went back home and pulled the plugs, fuck me, they were shit. One of them had a load of crap between the gap, the rest weren't much better, I don't know how it was even running the way it was in the first place. How the fuck can a shitty little engine like that run so well on 2-3 cylinders? After cleaning the plugs up it went like shit off a shovel! I'm almost having second thoughts on s

Very nice, how come the outlet on the intercooler is facing forwards rather than sideways though?

Was awake for 2 days straight, went to bed at about half 10-11 oclock last night, woke up at 2-half 2. 2 days with no sleep then I get a shitty 3-4 or however many hours sleep I can't even fucking count. For fuck sake.

They are internally different, aswell as the management etc... It's easier to just do a full conversion. Although it is indeed possible to turbocharge any N/A engine.
-
Nevermind, swapped the thermostat housing over with all the original sensors, now it's perfect, goes up to running temperature, stays there, and the fan works too.
-
Doesn't matter, problem solved.

I was taking the piss mate no need to write a big paragraph lol. On a more serious note your car looks nice, always liked red cars with white wheels. My sister has a red EP91 and the colour is amazing after a good polish.
