Cheers mate, it's a nice car but 18 years and 9 previous owners has given it a few little niggles, which as you can see from the stripped interior I'm sorting out. Ordering an OMP dished steering wheel soon to replace the ebay shit that's in there now. Just need to sort the wiring out, give everything a good clean, and find some seats that aren't ripped.

Get your alternator/power steering belts changed or tightened. No it's an electric fan.

Internal wastegate = built into the turbo. External wastegate = seperate from the turbo, comes directly off the manifold and is much better at controlling boost than an internal wastegate, however they are usually more expensive.

190bhp will be easy with a TD12. What do you call "normal" style manifold? That one you posted will be fine for what you need. Along with a decat, intercooler, exhaust system, air filter, and a piggyback ECU. If you do all of the above you will be ready for bigger power in the future once you have forged internals, you will just need some bigger injectors etc... and a remap at higher boost.
