  1. Rear strut brace isn't strong enough to mount to, you need a harness bar. I personally wouldn't want to drive or be a passenger in most of these cars as the majority of the harnesses are mounted dangerously in these pics. The harness needs to be around shoulder height or between 20o of it iirc, a heavy impact with a harness bolted to the floor risks serious spinal damage due to the angle of the belts
  2. Was there a fault on the AYC system then? I've been told that the cars are fine to drive if the AYC light comes on aslong as you don't try to take corners like a hero! I was originally after an RS2 so I didn't have the AYC but budget wouldn't quite stretch to one!
  3. Cheers folks Heres a slightly better pic from a couple of weeks ago, wellI quite like it anyway!

  7. Cheers guys. Not going for a big build on this one....he says that now.. Get it re-undersealed is first on the list and then off to NR Autosport for a health check and service. Its pretty standard atm, got a turbo back exhaust, panel filter and possibly been remapped but can't be sure, previous owner works at an Evo specialists and he says it definatley seems quicker than one with the standard map. Il be looking into a 3 port boost solenoid, uprated fuel pump and a different ecu in the new year, that should see 350bhp which should be enough on the road! Its pretty rapid as it is
  8. Just thought id put this up here, incase anyones interested Picked it up last week, now my old GT4 was pretty quick but this is something else, its awesome
  9. So after breaking up my silver track Celica and selling the green one it was time to move on to something that I've always wanted to own and here it is: 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 6 GSR I know the pics are abit crap but I've just done a few quick ones on the driveway, will get some decent ones up soon as, Took a good few months of endlessly scouring various websites and looking at them for me to decide on this one. Its fairly standard atm but its got a full exhaust system, recirc dump valve, Evo 9 wheels and some fancy gauges. The guy I bought it off works at an

  17. The only gearbox I have is the original one, its ok but didn't like really fast shifts into 2nd. I can sell the turbo on its own if need be. Just to add, I've had a few people interested in the complete package so would like to give them the opportunity to take the lot together. If I do end up splitting the parts then il let you guys know.
  18. Just to say if you don't want things like the turbo, ecu etc etc then we can work out a cheaper price.
  19. its really going to depend on how much the house/flat is worth and what your income is. we bought around 3 years ago on a repossession house that was up for £87k and we paid a 10% deposit, mortgage is around £370 ish a month but over 35 years. don't forget that on top of your deposit is the solicitors ad survey fees which was nearly £3k!!
