I've driven a standard r33 gts-t and it didn't seem that fast tbh, like driving a large bmw really!! a modded one would probably be a different story though! my mate is selling an r32 gts-t4, its the rb20 engine but it has 4wd, think he wants around £2.5k for it, runs nitrous aswell

try 1st quote mate, that who i was with at 19 on a GT, admitadley though that was a long time ago *actually did you speak to someone at quinn when you looked at insurance for a gt with them? if so did you get a reference number? you could say to them that this is what you've been quoted and this is the ref number and because of this you've bought the car but now you won't insure me? surely they should honor what they originally quoted as thats your basis for buying the new car in the first place! failing all that see if you can get temp cover to get the car back and then try and sort it fro

just been sort of day dreaming again and was thinking of possibly a low budget engine conversion (if there is such a thing!) been trawling through ebay and found 2 cars that I think may go together. this as the car: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-FIESTA-1-LI...p;_qi=RTM687477 and this to supply the oomph: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ford-probe-24v-2...=item20bb7b7eb7 anyone know if this sort of conversion has been done, im guessing it has and 2.5 or 3.0 v6 go in corsas so why shouldn't it fit?!?!?! yes i know before anyone says anything, there shi**ty Fords but cheap is the key, i can't affor

i test drove it for him when we first went to look at it, hate the scooby noise, was doing me head in after 5 minutes! it was a fairly quick car tho.

me and missis moved into a house in a cul de sac almost a year ago and theres a couple of noisy cars, mine included but even the celica gets drowned out by the blokes tvr across the road! and the next door neighbours son has a punto who plays loud music everytime he comes home late at night, thud thud thud at 2am. going to get the launch control setup and annoy the c*nt when he's still lying in bed at midday

yes mate, pretty much in the centre of Notts, it was on pistonheads. found the ad: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2931800.htm il get some pics up of what it looks like now when i can. he's been having a think and might end up getting a new shell for it.

its not an STi mate. its got dyno charts showing just shy of 250bhp, its been remapped by prodrive or has a prodrive ecu apparently, not had chance to have a look at it yet. some pics of it, pre smash of course!
-
yes its the classic. it did have a p1 front bumper and splitter, well it still does but thats in pieces in the boot now!! thanks for the info guys, think il have to sign up on a scooby site tbh. the car is repairable from what I can see but he hasn't got the cash to get it sorted so might see about selling it as is before having the hassle of breaking it.

my brother inlaw crashed his Impreza last night, front end completely gone, hes only had it 2 weeks. just wondering if anyone knows about how much various parts might be worth to sell on, been on ebay but everything on there varies wildly. Its a 2000 plate uk spec turbo with some mods on it. the car has done around 80k the engine is still good, no damage. its got prodrive exhaust, prodrive intercooler, prodrive coilovers, bailey bov. 18" inovit alloys was a really nice car, all the interior is good, its white/grey and black seats. does anyone have any ideas or recommend a good scooby owner

its down as made and registered over here in 2004! I've got the chassis number now so hopefully can trace it through that?!

Wonder if anyone can help? My father in law has just bought an FTO and he's taken it for MOT which it has failed on emissions, it has a decat fitted. Now ive been trawling on the net and have discovered that an import registered in Japan before 31/07/1995 only needs a non cat test. However this is now the problem!!! The car is down on the logbook as a 2004 reg and even has an 04 reg number plates, the guy he bought it off said he thought it was actually a 1993 car but the MOT place are saying its a late 1995. Is there anyway we can find out its actual date of birth?!?!? Tried Mitsubishi bu

get in touch with ACAS mate, they will try and sort it for you. if they can't then you may take it to an employment tribunral, however its a long winded process

been driving 7 years 1998 Nissan Micra 1.0l Si 1993 Toyota Starlet GT 1990 Toyota MR2 GT Turbo 1995 Toyota Celica GT-Four I likethe jap stuff

Surely your going to have the same problem of traction with 500bhp in a rear drive car as 300bhp in a front wheel drive?? So sod a GTT Skyline, with that sort of money Id go for an R32 or R33 GTR. Get the ponies on the black stuff

ST205 uses the CT20, full boost at just over 3k so not massive revs needed. I run mine at 1.1 bar and see 311bhp. Not sure how one would fair on a Starlet though, might have to consider it as a possible project for next year
-
Beams engine = 197bhp Rev3 3sge = 170 ish bhp Comes in the late SS111 Celica aswell as already mentioned. Beams Celicas aren't massively quicker over the "normal" engine ones either.
-
macpherson superstrut and even more LOL is that they don't have superstrut on the rear. The actual TTE rally cars had 4 stud hubs and normal mcpherson struts allround, although they did use stronger superstrut setup on the tarmac stages

TTE kit and a 3S-GTE, job done

I stuck these up in the other jokes thread too btw1 I was in a club on Saturday night, completely wasted and walked up to this beautiful blonde at the bar, "Duck my sick" I said drunkenly "Your so wasted" she replied, "don't you mean suck my dick?" I threw up all over her and said "Nope!" A gypo girl is about to get married. Her Mum says "Emerald, you do realize that when your married your husband will want to stick his most prized possession into where you piss?" The daughter replies, "Shut up Ma, how the fuck is he going to fit his Transit van in the sink!?!" The best engine in the world

Passed!!! Not even an advisory which makes a change ;) Emissions were very bordeline though. CO Max limit 0.300, my reading 0.299!! So slightly up on last years, however alot better than the year before that as tried to get it through with a decat and set fire to the test probe ;)
