  1. That time of year again! Everything seems to work ok so hopefully should pass, failed last year as the rear fog light wasn't "red enough"
  2. when you say she was "reversing in" I assume you mean onto her driveway?? if so was the neighbours Audi obstructing the drive at all? we've just moved into a house and we are constantly getting people parking partial or fully across the drive making difficult/impossible to get in or out. If yours is the same type of thing then you should have a case.
  3. thats the one. bleed valve has a third port that bleeds the boost off early, I had one and it made the boost quite unstable tbh.
  4. if your going to use a manual boost controller don't get a bleed valve, go for a relief valve im using an R-Spec one which seems to work very well.
  5. Ive been with Elephant for many years, had imports with them ever since I was 19. Most places wouldn't insure or quoted a fortune but Elephant didn't seem to care if it was imported or not!
  6. the 3sgte block is very strong, pistons can take over 350bhp and rods towards 500bhp. The weak link of the rev1 and rev2 is the headgasket, made of paper!! Get a metal one on with uprated bolts if you plan on upping the boost. I had a rev1 turbo MR2 after my GT Starlet and it was just plain scary tbh, although mine wasn't in the best of condition really. You need to show it lots of respect, as, if the back end does go you'll be extremely lucky to catch it. You can get quite alot of stuff into an MR2 suprisingly and the driving position is brilliant, fuel comsumption is pretty horrendous thoug

    Friday Jokes

I was at a cash machine the other day and there was an old lady in front of me, after a short time she turned round and asked if I could help her check her balance..... ............ so I pushed her over. I was in a club on Saturday night, completely wasted and walked up to this beautiful blonde at the bar, "Duck my sick" I said drunkenly "Your so wasted" she replied, "don't you mean suck my dick?" I threw up all over her and said "Nope!"
  8. Performance is very good as you can probably imagine. A stock ST205 should run a high 14 second 1/4 mile, my best is 13.1 with 311bhp @ fly, pretty confident I could get a high 12 with less fuel onboard!! Speaking of fuel, mpg isn't brilliant, I average around 20-21 mpg usually. Most Ive had was 25mpg. The last time on track I did 95 miles and burnt the entire tank off, its a 68 lire tank on these Love the Caldina, very much a street sleeper, are you on the OC mate??
  9. We had a carboot sale last week and made a pitance so tried again today at a different place, Celica is surprizingly spacious when it comes to boxes and paste tables!! Anyway been there a few hours and a chap comes up and starts talking about my car and how nice it is, he's got a gen7 Celica apparently. Then I go for a wander around and come across a dent removal man, get talking to him about repairing a slight dent on my bonnet and he comes over to take a look and also makes some nice comments. A bit later another guy starts talking about the Celica and says that he recently bought a "clas
  10. Was just looking through a vid earlier and noticed an ep82 with some mahoosive mudflaps!!! about 37 seconds in. God I want a sequential 'box
  11. Will take a while to read!!! The cost must be ££££££££££££££££££££££ http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=220866
  12. bit of a contridiction there Id go for a Suzuki Swift GTi. Or if you can find them: Daihatsui Cuore Avanzato or Suzuki Alto Works, the Alto has a Cappuccino engine under the bonnet. How about a Cappuccion come to think of it??
  13. R.I.P Dale Thoughts are with family and friends.
  14. something defo wrong there!!! 190 lb/ft
  15. I got offered £1200 for the Celica......
  16. Group A for me, though wouldn't quite believe it!!!
  17. GT advanced is a rarer car but not much different to a "normal" GT, advance's have two tone paint and a couple of extra bits IIRC. Some have an LSD too. Insure the car for what it is, regardless of what the log book says. If you insure a Starlet GT as an n/a you may aswell not bother to insure it at all.
  18. Finally managed to get hold of pictures from a trackday that I did at RAF Barkston Heath a couple of weeks ago, so just thought Id some of the photos and a few videos of the day. Me trying to work out how to put a helmet on!! My soon to be Father in law, Barrie came along as additional driver, hes driven the Faff on the road a few times so thought Id let him see what it can really do The Celica on its track wheels, 225/40 16 Toyo Proxie T1R's, I also stripped the rear interior out just for the hell of it. Cooling down after some hard laps and the track action! Baz at the wheel Me
  19. Hayabusa engine in a kp would be pretty neat
  20. the stock inter "warmer" is shite, when I had my GT with the top mount on I could barely keep up with a Rover 216 on a hot day FMIC should be one of the very first power mods imho
  21. oh yes the ZZ11 has 500bhp in stock form so obviously the RB26 has been tweeked a little, but being a Skyline engine pretty much any amount of power is possible
  22. My top 3: Mosler MT900 Saleen S7 and my absolute favourite, Tommy Kaira ZZ11, essentially a 4wd Lotus Elise and its got one of these in the back
