**warning Regarding Glanza On Ph £2750**
Glanza_cl replied to Nayls's topic in Lifestyle General
good work buddy, nice to see you know your cars and are able to help those that might not have such a knolage and could have ended up buying a shitter! -
everyone loves a good mass-debate
-
indeed buddy as long as your happy with it, just kind of anoyed me that you said strings 162bhp was low, when in fact it was far from it. nevermind it's not my place to judge i'm sure you have a very powerful ct9. never the less a good result from strings run
-
i personaly dont think you can get that with a 'badly cracked mani'... perhaps running more boost to compansate... but in essance your saying you can run more bhp then hybrids? no point showing me a graph as i'v allready stated, just might have been putting out high reading to keep customers happy. do you have a ATW graph?

Mini Nijas is such a mint game! definatly worth a play

well until you start replacing stuff and reporting back wether it helped or not there isnt much we can do apart from give you possible ideas to what it might be. we cant give you a simple 'it will be this' but we can point you to a possible cause. loads of advice has been given, so when you get a moment change over some parts and come back a tell us if it helped or did nothing and then we can go from there.
-
there is no way with a cracked mani, on a stock ct9 you made 167bhp at .7bar. i made just under 170bhp at .7bar on a hybrid (fully set up with fueling), what string got is a bang on result for a hybrid. thats what most hybrids make on stock ecu... so i'm guessing the rollers you were on where way out. sorry mate. good result string buddy, now go get it mapped at a bar lol

had it all before mate, kinda feels as if your trying to drive through water... that car wants to go but just feels like it's pulling back for some reason. there could be a few possibilities check out my build thread on my glanza for more help. but my first thing would be to change to plugs and leads, plugs could have got slightly damp. next up check the condition of your dizzy cap/rota arm change them if need be. also have you tried a diagnostic test, perhaps try that and see if any codes pop up

small things realy which came in handy... map sensor are compatable, fuel pumps... i ran 170bhp on the mr2 pump perfectly, obviously bolt ons like rrfpr, ebc, all specific to the mr2 go nicely on a V. turbo's etc. i had some other mr2 bits on my glanza but cant for the life of me remember what they were, all engine related though -

nice one Tim buddy, i'm glad someone has found the potential for the starlet using mr2 parts... it's a huge market and most people don't have any idea that the 4efte is basically a small sw20 lol... when i had my glanza i touched on the concept of using mr2 parts as my mate is an mr2 specialist so he just happened to have parts that would fit super nice part list your gathering and this is going to be one tricked and reliable V!... 200bhp while remaining safe will be easy with your set up. -
yeah this place is my home lol... the HDI's are big but a very effective, but if you can get a hold of sasha (think thats his name) and get a weper fmic of him suited to the ct9 there mint! I got my gt spec off Enzo on here... have a look in the traders section. it was such a good tubby! but enzo is developing a load of new ones which will be much better so keep an eye out for those... also he has relased a high power external wastgate setup which looks awesome. just have a look through his stuff haha it's all sweet
-
Hiya buddy nice to see you joined up on here aswell My advice would be to go with either a japspeed/autobahn... or my personal choice weper my V had a HDI which is an awesome fmic but to get it to fit nicely a fair bit of trimming was needed.
