standard boost is 06 high and 0.4 low i think off the top of my head, fuel cut is around 0.85 you can wind your actuator up to around 0.8 no problem but take into consideration in this cold weather you may get boost creep and hit fuel cut. you cant go any higher than the factory fuel cut level unless you get a FCD (fuel cut defender) but then you will also need a RRFPR (rising rate fuel pressure regulator) and get it on a RR to make sure it fueling ok, if you dont do this and just fit a FCD you can run your car lean and bugger the pistons! just turning up the boost wont give you loads more power unless you have the supporting mods to accompany it, otherwise you will just run into problems. hope this helps.
if you dont want to spend the money then you will have to deal with a crap mani. try: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27158 http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=59 or toytunig, starletgtturbo
aahh got ya, i would use the time you have to chill and relax before getting back in with a girl- there hard work, been with my gf for 3years now, you know went it is right because it will just work don't rush things. have a break, have a kitkat
i have the aircon removed and there is more space but i think you will still have to take quite alot of the bottom, do you have a lower splitter as this can hide alot:
it's not urgent you could post it if that's easier, i know it's madness, well i will find out Saturday if it is actually the actuator or not. also on the rattle side of things i get a squeak went i turn the engine off, almost like a belt or compressor wheel is rubbing or something.
every way under the sun to try and get it to work, the new one came thought the other day so will fit that at the weekend. any luck with the gasket for the exhaust?
thanks kind people, i gets kinda annoying as every time i go ova a bump a tad bit to fast it pulls a rivet out from the splitter and i have to re-do it. but i persist for the sake of ube great looks
lol tell me about it! i have a new rocker cover gasket and Matt black paint might also do the 'Toyota' lettering in white, but have still not got round to it.
right here are the pics went out in the very cold snow to get these that's true ep forum love the lovely laguna splitter: the nice new relocation kit: hard to really see it and i was a muppet and didn't take any before it went on ;) and the apexi/blitz custom: whole exhaust has been sprayed in heat reflective paint also got a new HKS actuator through the post yesterday so will get that on mayb to night or the weekend and hopefully that will cure my crazy boost issue.
