Cheers guys I know what you mean about the front end i had that issue when i was looking for one but when i kept looking at them ii got use to it and noticed at the time not many people owned s14s and more were buying s14a's. thansk for the comments Update time Well about a month ago i went and bought a set of Z32 rear brakes from big_jim many thanks mate well once i got them home i decided to strip everything down and they were in a poor state. So OCD came in to play again. cleaned up calipers and they are getting stripped down, powder coated and rebuilt as we speak by Jason at conceptua-tuning cleaned up the shoe mechanism and took them to the zinc coaters and this is how they came back. Tracked down some better condition backing plates thanks to Garage-D The old shoes have had it and lucky that day craig8585 put up a set of new ones for sale for a cheap price cheers mate  Big thanks to Dan at DB-Power for sorting me out a set of set Z32 braided lines in orange to match my colour scheme and suppling R33 hand brake cables. Also EBC sorted me out some brake pads and Brake depot for my grooved brake discs. This week fitted the backing plates hand brake cables abd shoes and sprayed the centre part of the discs and fitted. Now im just waiting on the calipers to return.

cheers guys not on here much these days any way big update of over the last year lol! under sealed my archs (didnt take many pics of the work before and after put how it turned out) ordered my oils all ready. And also put every thing nearly back together then that week decided to tidy up the cut out bits of the front bumper and send it away to get the number plate holes filled, smoothed over, stone chips done and re-sprayed. this how it come back and fitted. I came across a member braking there car on here and went and bought the front arch trims as none were on the car before. While i was there picked up the 14a tourer door cards as well and fitted those when i got back. old new fitted some pics of the gauges to Gave my cusco catch can and my rad brackets to my mate to powder coat this is how they came back (will post pics fitted just have not taken any yet) I started the car that week and all is running well. As i fitted new big end bearings and oil pump decided to do 500 miles bedding in and 1st trip was to the sumo power open day round the back roads. heres a pic when we was parked up. the running in miles was complete all ready for the Tunnel run so done a oil change and all set to go. tunnel run was a great nite out in the car She is running really well. THANKS TO NASH, PENDFOLD AND OTHERS FOR THE HELP THEY GAVE ME got me apex rad on the group buy last week my new wheels turned up and sitting at home for when i get back from work. thanks to Ben at Rare Rims. gone for Rota Grid Drifts 18x10 et 15 rear and 18x9.5 et30 front Test fit rear test fit front then it was time to order tyres with chating to Ben what tyres decided to go for 225/40/18 on the fronts and 235/40/18 on the rears now the tyres are here gave them to my brother to fit the tyres and got them fitted also replaced noisey wheel bearing [ IMG]http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t65/starletabbott/silvia%20s14/DSC02122.jpg also bought my self a nice bucket seat One thing which has bugged me after buying the car was rust bubbling up on one of the rear archs and where they were rolled and flaired they was not done that great and lost there shape so i thought it was time to put my mark on the out side and get sorted. Well 3 weeks ago i dropped my car down to Peter at Sumo Power for some work. Work being done: re do rear aches roll and flaire to fit my wheels when i lower it more as the rear quaters and roof was being sprayed as i didnt want a blow in ive had the arial removed and also had a new wind screen fitted as had a little crack in it. yesterday picked the car up and am very happy with the work they have done and recomend any one who wants work doing they are a great company to deal with. any way heres the pics after a good clean after the rain yesterday driving back. Time for a update of what ive been doing. Since having my archs done in October ive not driven my car so in December I decided to strip the back end down and underseal the car and get every think clean as wanting it looking fresh and new. so from there i decided to strip things down and the list started off what i wanted to do Painting Hubs driveshafts diff brakes Powdercoating Subframe lower arms traction rods camber arms toe arms tow bar and a few other small parts Other stuff to do Grind back surface rust spots and zinc prime rust protector prep work undersealing clean all bolts ready for zinc coating. Stuff to order Driftworks Subframe poly bushs Driftworks solid diff bushs Driftworks rear lower poly arm bushs Apex new ball joints Whiteline rear anti roll bar (powder coated a differant colour) from there i got stuck in, sripped and got ready to get cleaned up and get a couple of coats of paint on. Started cleaning the bolts and nuts one by one on the bench wheel grrr took a while. all clean and ready go to zinc coaters and have been dropped off and should receive them back next week Subframe stripped before bushs had been removed and has been sent off to Willow powder coating last week to get Shotblasting, etch primed and powdercoated and should get back soon. Masked up car and got grinding and got the zinc primer on the spots which needed doing. 1st coat of under seal havent take to many pics as hands were a mess. cleaned rear brake discs so i could paint the centre as they do my nut when centres rust. Also started painting the other bits hubs ect Also dropped all my arms down to my mate tonight to get powder coated pics here more of the bits painted up. came home from work on thursday with a nice delivery from Driftworks  and today was cleaning up the back box heat shield which was in a bad state and given it a freshen up little update for the last weeks work well lookng at one of the brake lines while the subframe was off i thought it was best to replace it with a new one so got my mate to bring some copper home and make one up Thanks Penfold. Also picked up from Nissan a new t-piece to do the otherside as the one which runs down the car is mint. On friday went off to pick up my subframe and bolts which came out spot on when i got back i had a parcel from Apex Cheers for sorting me with my new rear ball joints. Saturday Me and Nash Got the bushs in the subframe and got it fitted and fitted the Diff. More pics to come shortley Unfortantly when i picked my arms, traction, camber and toe arms up from my mate for the second time he had powder coated wrong yet again  now im finding a different company to match up what i want. Well wednesday i went to 200krisx's to pick up some godspeed anti roll bars and drop links and thanks chap they where still wrapped up in db powers packing and never fitted.. these will be going off to the powder coaters now. today my girl friend took me back to the powder coaters to pick up all my rear arms and zinc platers for more bits i had done. Im happy now the way the arms have come out 3rd time lucky. now got these back can get the bushs, ball joints in and start bolting the back end together. more updates over the weekend arms back together copper slipping all the rose joints and threads. Then cracked on putting the new lower arm bushs in and ball joints, which i can say were a bloody nightmare having to do modifications to the driftworks bushs but got there in the end and with a bit of false the arms got bolted up in place. From ther on got every think bolted back together and happy the way its looking. Next is to poly bush the front and powder coat some more bits and get the anti roll bars fitted. Big thanks to Nash and penfold giving me a hand  cheers fellas heres the pics of todays and yesters work car as it stands at the moment, had a right nighmare taking the front apart where every thinkwas solid and not moving. cleaned and painted the hubs next was to take the old bushs and ball joints out the lower arms. The bushs i got the blow touch out and set them on fire and scraped all the rubber out as the outer sleeve had to be left in for the new bushs to work. cleaned all my bolts which i took off ready to be zinc plated all the bits ready to go off to the powder coaters lower arms braces traction arms anti roll bar U brackets brake line brackets front and rear anti roll bars (Not pictured) So dropped them off yesterday with the bolts. While i was out had 2 deliverys thanks to Apex for new ball joints and Driftworks for Poly lower arm bushs. sofar this week has been a bit slow but just cleaning up the bit on the front end where i under sealed last year and missed bits and zinc primed parts ready for those bits to be under sealed. i bought some godspeed anti roll bars in my previous post which im happy with but me being a fussy git i did not like the drop link bushs because every bush ive replaced is orange and the red and blue does not go with the theme ive got going. So I have been trying to find some but had no luck. But this week i noticed Apex were doing a group buy on poly bushs in black as a car set, so gave them a call and Kev sorted me out with some black poly drop link bushs which will look better and go more with what im doing BIG THANKS TO APEX! they turned up wednesday. I had to buy some new supension bolts which bolt them to the hub as there others where not re-useable. What a joke on price from Nissan On thursday i picked up my bolts from the zink platers and i got home that night and decided to strip the front subframe off and drop it to the powdercoaters and drop some more bolts to the zinc coaters. front was half done last year when engine was being done.so just a few things to sort this time but im finding things day by day that i want to do. Nash kepstelling me to stop other wise it wont be back on the road lol! Anyway another update picked up my powder coated bits today and im very happy once again so im just waiting on the front subframe to come back next week and can start going back together. Ordered some super pro poly bushs from sumo power then friday back to the powder coaters to collect my front subframe and zinc coaters for my subframe bolts saturday was time to fit all the parts back on the car every think back together and back on the floor heres a pick of the rear end all together so went out and road test it tonight to make sure its good for sumo power tomorrow and on testing it i had a loud knocking noise coming from the rear coilover so took it straight to my mates garage and found the top mount bearing is worn so took it home . so looks like im going to be ordering some new coilovers now as the the spex ones have had it and are worn out. well on monday 7th got on to the phone to Sumo Power and ordered a set of BC BR coilovers spring rates 6/8 Thanks Dan at Sumo. Well on saturday this parcel turned up at 7:45am So started fitting the rears saturday and fitted the front sunday with setting the ride height I wanted and is all ready to go sumo saturday for the geo setup. the front rim is close to the coilover and i mean you can just get a sheet of card between is this safe? ive driven it does not rub. they wheels on the front are 18.9.5 et30 with a 12mm spacer. how the cars sitting now and just really to post pics Daz hope you dont mind me posting your pics as the alot better than the ones i took. geo being done at sumo Pic from last months Bluewater Jap meet pics from BHP show Next on the list is to fit my carbon bucket seat whichive had for a year, Z32 rear brakes, cams and a remap

after 5 months of looking for a s14a and looking at 3 cars i ended up buying a s14 in september 2009. 1st things was to give the car a good clean and fit some s14a rear lights which i bought. then the next weekend took her out for a drive and the manifold to turbo gasket started blowing  so strip down on a sunday loL! on monday ordered a new gasket and locking bits from apex. They turned up on tuesday changed the front 25mm spaces to 15mm spaces due to the front catching the arch. bought a nismo gear knob off ebay. also put some new tyres on the front to. also changed the rear cloth seats to leather still to find some decent fronts. well then it was the middle of october took my car out for a drive on a saturday night with friends and was running sweet. the next day tho got up and went outside to let the car warm up and noticed the was a loud noice sort of sounded like a fan belt so tuned straight off because it sounded bad. phoned my friend got him to come and have a look and checked things couldnt find nothink so we started it again and it was fine, so i said to him i will be out later. Later came started and the noise was back and oil light was up so once again turned straight off phoned my mate and said got a oil problem no oil to the top end. So after thinking what to test i desided to get the engine out and strip down to find the problem. big thanks to mr mdub for giving a hand. engine on the stand and stripped back finding that the oil pump had had it and nick looked over engine and there was no damage only to oil pump will add pics hen i take them. well people who know me know that i like a clean engine bay so i desided to get the bay sprayed in gloss black at my mates work. Got her home and gave a clean and started to put things back After all that i desided to make a custom dash gauge pod. At the time Nash was making his at mine so he said you should do yours and thought i already have enough to do. well building began. next thing i wanted to do was fit my boost controller where the ash tray was so a bit of cutting had to be done. then it was off to be black flocked big thanks to stiggy off driftworks  all fitted back in the car with my defi link gauges Another thing which i thought i would have a play about with to be a little different was stripping the lights down and spray part of them black. Thanks for the help Nash only one done in photo Had my rocker cover powder coated and bought a few parts. thanks henners for sorting out a good price on the oil pump  cleaned and painted a few things up sat 23rd jan 2010 nismo Nick from TKS tuning came up and built the engine back up thanks again nick. The next day time to clean and paint the engine the followng day time to fit the others back on. last week my brother under sealed the tunnel ready to put engine and box in. sat 30th jan time to get engine in and start putting it together. This week ordered all my oils, coolant hoses ect and had a egt bung welded in the elbow, also front bumper sprayed and number plate removed, all run in now and running well 352bhp 350 torque Pics to follow

8/5/09 Went to AFR Tuning this morning just to get my car remapped due to have it checked out a few weeks ago at TDI Hub dyno day made 238whp at 1.4bar and it was leaning off and was not right. Mat within 5 minutes picked up how bad the map was, so he got to work and got it sorted i didnt really care if it lost or made bhp just wanted it to run safe and sweet. Had a few traction issues on the dyno with it spinning up in 4th so had to be done in 5th. Results made 317bhp 256lbf.ft at 1.6bar so very happy the way its running now
