My first job was working in the trade, and I know some car salesmen (main dealer and otherwise). If you're good at it, you can make some real money (and depending on the dealership, bonuses/"prizes" etc). The only real downside is that you're often sitting about doing nothing. On a positive note, you get to drive plenty of cars!

My wife and half her mates - while I was watching The Editors who are top notch live. Believe it or not, I jumped out of one of my shoes!! Madonna - like watching your gran humping - just plain wrong!

I don't live too far away and most of my mates were in the same boat. It's the people who live in Mote Road and didn't get tickets that I feel most sorry for though. One of my wife's friends got tickets for Saturday and Sunday (applied through her e-mail and her husband's). Now that's what you call jammy! The touts were selling tickets for £70/75 yesterday around the area, and no one was checking ID at the gates. Crazy!

I've used Longlife before and been happy with the actual pipework - in the end though, they're franchises so I can only say that the one up near Wallington was good. And when I say happy/good, they did f**k up my first appointment and sent me away so the service is not tip top - just the pipework.

If you've got nice rims on, it might help you to improve your parking skills (you'll be concentrating on not scratching them!!). I'd just make sure you're insured with them on though.

My brother's got a similar case going on - it's coming up to court stage now apparently. Bloke hit him in the rear three quarter (behind the rear wheel) and wrote his car off, and the insurers are fighting it all the way! Considering most insurers are not looking to do the right thing, and simply minimise their costs while getting a claim sorted, it's crazy. Hope you get it sorted mate - at the end of the day, if she hit you in the rear (and she's not denying it), and there is no proof of any previous damage, she's on thin ice - f**king people!

That is one hell of a dent - sorry to hear that mate! I can't believe a bottle did that much damage!! As for the Audi, before I'd read about it being on a false plate, the first thing I thought was that it was stolen. You don't drive your own £40k motor like that, chucking stuff about, for fear of retaliation. It's probably a good job you didn't catch them... C**ts.

as above! Brother's used it on his Elise headlight covers and they were greatly improved.

Depending on mileage, they may also change cambelt, coolant etc.

The car looks very clean, and a new set of wheels would set it off a treat in my opinion!

TBH, I don't like either wheel. The first set looking too old for a Starlet, and the second set being a bit too Euro Style for my liking.
