Its hard to remove the panels unless you know what you are doing! I got so far and stopped, just to make sure I didn't break anything as I don't think the staret skirting is high quality and would be a bummer to replace. Linking the wiring off the head unit is fine until u invest in a proper amp and subs etc when you then have to wire up the amp to the battery and earth the amp. Thats the best I can think of,if your looking for temporary subtle sounds ;b Peace Out Joz

Wasup dude Yea it would be safe to buy from starletgtturbo for your leads, can't lose there. I just thought it would be informative to ask trd usa how much it would cost as the leads themselves are $90. Just for future reference... ;b I am a regular for buying little things like that overseas and you hardly get taxed for stuff from the US, normally from Japan. As for the streetcorner thing, they don't cost that much, prob less than the magnecors ;b And yea, this can be an expensive hobby but very satisfying when its all said & done;b! Fair play for wanting to get a jdm mani before getti -

Joz's K&N Panel Filter Feedback! OK I'm back from my mates after fitting the K&N filter charger to my car and I am lost for words!!! Yea I drive my car at this time because I finish work after hours ;b All I can say is it is a really huge improvement to the pulling power of the engine, tte zorst sounds a little deeper & louder & the jdm mani helps the car accelerate effortlessly and at a faster rate When I used to put the foot down it took a while to go up the revs and even at high revs (4500rpm+) the car was going up in speed but the strength of it felt really flat and ki -

Finally got a nice comment from Shelly !Its all GOOD! Back to topic I got the TRD leads off eBay, they crop up from time to time but I did pay a little too much in 70 beans + shipping from japan, beans is the most popular form of currency on UKSC lol! I believe you can get them new from www.trdsales.com for a bit less, but I've no idea of the shipping from US so u would have to contact them ;b let me know how you get on, they got sum nice stuff on there! I think the trd leads are a nice alternative to the red magnecor's that many people have ;b I got my K&N performance panel air fi -
Real nice clean pics there Shelly Lovin your white glanza! Really stands out from other white ones I seen so far. Is it me or do your window tints reflect blue When you gonna check out my red sr and leave a comment huh ? lol! Keep up the good work, any more tasty mods planned? Take care Peace Joz

@Blue Icarian Wings Cheers for the compliments mate, trust me Im not that far ahead of you but do have a couple of things sorted, and yea something to replace the stock hosing would be nice (those are trd ignition leads by the way ; Get to this stage and you are laughing mate ;b I look forward to you catching up, I need to get my rear lights sorted too but I'm gonna get her lowered 1st! Up to you about the bump strips but individuality is the key ;b... JDM mani is pretty much the top mod for n/a starlet in terms of drivetrain performance. Take care, keep updating and have fun. @Enzo Cool m -

Hey man Welcome to the UKSC! Nice project you got there to work on. Geo's right! Take his advice and mine too ;b I have some of the stuff on my car that you propose to do, like jdm corrola inlet manifold and strut brace and I haven't declared them. I am also getting her lowered this summer! You don't need to do every single thing by the book, but I guess some insurers are more picky and conscious of any mention of tee word 'modification'!. Just some friendly advice, the induction kit will help you make more engine noise but has been proven in the starlet to lose you power, best to go with

Lol Nuts! How'd they get away with it from the rental place Peace Joz

Cheers Geo mate! Makes such a difference washing the car on a sunny day! I wasn't gonna unveil the engine bay til that little lot was done ;b Not too bad for n/a ;b All I need now is bling bling rocker cover lol;b Those speaker boxes run right off the rear parcel shelf, with the rear parcel shelf running off the head unit. No subs or amps involved. Loud enough for in car listening minus head turning bass, this mini ICE is practical, the boxes came outta my old corolla . I would rather spend my next fund on suspension rather than ICE. Have u decided what to go for yet? Watch this space -

Hey Lobo Its just more cost effective to get the whole lot done at once seein as gettin 1 refurbed will cost 50 beans and 150 to do the whole lot in any colour. It don't feel good drivin around with a kerbed rim but I see your point, it will probably happen again and its not worth gettin done til its time to sell up If I do but the damage may seep further into the alloy over time? What I meant was IF I decide to get new rims, not definite ;b I really think these rims really suit the car so just wanted the damaged one fixed for peace of mind because I really want to keep them nice for as l

I decided to refurb the damaged rim and get some new alloys later on. Not in a rush so will get that fixed in a couple of weeks. Peace Out Joz
