  1. Cheers Rich Some I took today. OK enough of the front end already lol its time to see more of what the rest of the car has offer. I've had the red spoiler light replaced by the clear led alternative. The rear bumper has also had a full respray and the original rear splitter has also been joined much better than it was before. My art for the day! The ultra racing room bar and 4 point lower arm bar have also arrived so I'll get those on once Im back from Hong Kong Enjoy and see you guys in 10 days time Joz
  2. Thanks for the suggestions Rick. I'll defo look into it with the next front bumper revision but all moolah is going towards the engine work now. Its growing on me everyday tho and I've actually always liked the middle bar. Many thanks for your kind words Si and Phil. Joz
  3. What did u expect??? Cant even be arsed to provide proper pics... Joz
  4. Nice viewing man! Will be good to see the vid you have in store for us. Joz
  5. Are there no photoshop people on Levin Club? lol Swine, someone should be here to help out soon. Joz
  6. Thanks for the mixed comments everyone. The grill was intended to be removable i.e so you could see its lines but the bodyshop smoothed it in to be part of the bumper instead. Its a shame the EP may be judged by its appearance now and not by its ability but thats what its all about. It took a whole night before it grew on me and I saw it in daylight. About the grill itself, its a full size standard EK9 grill. With the EP bumper not having as much meat, it was difficult to get it full in hence part of the top bumper was cut away. Like I said it was unpredictable to how this was going to turn out but Im quite happy with it and believe me Im not happy when things go wrong. The standard top grill cut out and meshed has been done to death, and I wanted an aftermarket grill, not the oem one smoothed. The lower bar is staying in for now. I've had the rear fully resprayed too, will get pics of that up when I get the clear spoiler light in Joz
  7. OK time to run the gauntlet lol. It may be your cream soda or not your cup of tea. This happens every time someone tries something new so Im open to + & - feedback this time. I won't be at all offended Everything I've done so far on the Project I would safely say is FTW! The front is constantly growing on me and keeps a sense of subtlety rather than full blown. I wanted to see what could be done with the n/a bumper while not going overboard. With so little there to work with I reckon my bodyshop guru has done a great job. At the workshop and at night Daytime Justice Closer inspection of the grill work and mesh To finish off You can also check out the new JozBlog here which the project is constantly updated Joz Blog aka Project Red EP91 These photos and more can be found there. It was totally unpredictable how it was going to turn out but Im really liking it now and thats the main thing B) Joz
  8. I can really see the effort that has gone into making the news site bro, a really awesome interactive addition to what already is a constantly growing site/community/forum. This is just a taste of things to come so keep your eyes peeled everyone. Joz
  9. Welcome to the site Jules Its great that you have finally made that first post! Nice job with the EG front splitter, it looks nice and subtle. Looking forward to seeing more of your project soon. Post up your EP91 in the Extreem EP Rides section to record all your progress. Enjoy your stay. Joz
  10. They just fit in perfectly mate. Much tidier looking you have to agree. The things Si was on about are indicator units that have a silver reflective bit inside rather than the dull grey one of the uk spec clear indicators units. You can get em from Toyota. Joz
  11. Shite bro, after such a long wait. So its just a case of longer bolts for the rest of us? Joz
  12. Some inspiration for the n/a scene. Only thing missing is the HID ballasts which are now in the bay. The 4efe went to a good home 5efe head. Joz
  13. Your best bet is to email them mate - toytuning@toytuning.com You will get a reply as there are more people helping nowadays. They don't give out their number freely Im afraid. otherwise they would be bogged down even more from demand. Hope you get the parts you want, they offer a very reliable service. Joz
  14. Welcome to the site mate and great to have you on board. Im running the same coilovers on my EP91 and Tanabe only ever made one model for the starlets. They are called Tanabe Sustec Pro-0 Mine came with jap instructions and the C-Spanners, the spanners are what you will need to adjust your ride height. The fronts only go so far down but the rear can go down as much as you like with room for further adjustment, you want a balance really as the handling advantages do not increase past a certain point of lowering. The spring rates are 4k Front and 6k Rear. Still stiff as you like. I can also tell you that your coilovers allow for camber adjustment as they are equipped with adjustable pillow ball top mounts so you can set camber to negative degree angles for intense cornering at the expense of additional side tyre wear. Sadly they are not damper adjustable meaning they are at a set stiffness/hardness but totally tolerable on uk roads compared to even some shock/spring combos I've experienced. But still edgy down country lanes and pothole ridden lanes, and speed bumps so take it easy and rip on the good roads. Having driven on these for new 2 years I have to say they are like a hot knife through butter when set up right and driven hard on good roads. Hope this helps. Joz
  15. Thats great news that the Kermit has returned! Well worth the wait eh. Too many goodies there Liam!!! ;) Joz
  16. Welcome to UKSC Nath. Check these previous discussion for some very good pointers for first time buyers - clicky1 clicky2 The same pointers apply for a GT or a Glanza, the main difference is the GT is a little more older. 1990-1995 vs 1996-1999. All the best with finding your ideal car and hope you enjoy your stay on the site. Joz
  17. Scope out our 'Check-In Help Desk intended for all new uksc members clicky Joz

  19. Even more evil developments occurred today so expect a major bodywork and minor additions update next week! I was gonna hold back on any more bodywork til the engine stuff was sorted but its gonna happen eventually so why prevent it? Engine work wont happen for another month or two, am awaiting engine parts. I'll be off to Hong Kong on the 25th so will miss the site for 9 WHOLE DAYS!!! Christ... Joz
