  1. u can do it, wouldnt recommend it though although there are a few guys in aus using them, but they have cut a bigger one on the other side and used a big speedflow fitting..... i will be doing the same, but using 2 big speedflow fittings seeing as though my motor breathes a fair bit

  3. sounds like vodafone around the world is crap.... they had a big thing in australia not too long ago with a class action law suit because the service and customer service is bloody horrendous.... and the people won, alot of people got let off of their contracts because of it too i believe, so they could go to a better telco provider

  7. i have an emanage that is capable of running 1000cc rochesters, but the fuel that they consume burns alot quicker than pump gas.... if u were running E85 or a blend, you will defz need 550cc or more..... i personally blend my own race gas, i call it MD60 it has pretty much the same properties as e85, but can add a bit more timing and it will loose power before it detonates take 40 litres of 98RON premium unleaded gas, and 60 litres of methanol, mix it in a big drum, and pump it out into 20 litre drums and make sure it is airtight, as methanol absorbs water and the gas goes off i have foun
  8. yes and no, once its out of the turbo and in a 3 inch exhaust, your not going to be able to make the velocity much faster, purely due to the size of the system... a decent exhaust shouldnt have to be wrapped on a turbo, as u want super velocity before the turbo, but after, u have no real need, i had my entire exhaust wrapped on my s15, but it was titanium and i didnt want it scratched or marked, but wrapping it did nothing at all compared to without it, and i didnt wrap the manifold in that either, as i had it ceramic coated with a polished look and didnt wanna ruin the look of my engine ba
  9. rears really cant be changed at all, quick question... do u still have power steering??? i have found mine to get like that since i took power steer out and put the coilovers in, its just something that u have to live with really.... im going to do another alignment on mine 2moro, so if the new settings change the handling at all i will let ya know
  10. on stainless steel, i would say do not wrap, it will cause cracking, i had my steel mani done and it was horrid when i pulled the wraps off, on a decent mild steel "STEAMPIPE" manifold, like my current one, i would say go for it... my boost comes on about 4-500rpm sooner, with just having wrapped the manifold, if i get a turbo beenie i hope to lower it some more... as for the rest of the exhaust, there is really not much point except to make it look pretty, mainly because its after the turbo, so therefor it is effectivly doing nothing at all (unless u are only using it to sheild parts from
  11. holy crap guys, it costs u each year to have a plate??? i have a custom plate on my car (i have a few sets of custom plates though) cost me 415 aussie dollars currently on the car is "GTJ37" = gt jet and others i have are 800bis = boobies 04NAL = 0 anal 180ost = i boost 280ost = 2 boost and had quite a few others but sold them on for more than i paid for them
  12. they are called trade plates, it allows u to move a completely un registered car around with what u guys would call tax mot and insurance, in saying that, they cost thousands each year to have a trade plate for that reason...... i used to have one in my old job, we used to take track cars out on the street for a quick blast around the block

  14. start with the actual cooler, and put everything together, but DO NOT tighten it up untill its all sitting nice... 90% of the boost leaks i have seen are due to people starting at one end of the pipework and making something not seal up properly.... if u start in the middle and work your way to each end, u have a better chance of it sealing right
  15. roll cages have to be mandrel bent.... and the welding has to be "perfect" i have seen so many people make a cage, thinking they can, and boy of boy..... some of the work has been horrible, down to a point where i wouldnt even get in the car at all...... tig weld it all, or mig it if u have made mid skills, and make sure it is damn perfect before u install it in the car... because its a prick to bolt it in 6 times just to find out one part isnt made right

  17. are we talking 400 at the engine or at the tires??? get away from the crappy subaru flange and go to a t2 series flange... MUCH better range of turbos and personally i would go for a garrett before anything if u want 400hp i would personally think something like this 400HP capable turbo u will find a gt28 will get u there, u just need to look at compressor maps and figure out what your needs are... u cant just grab a turbo and hope it works
  18. love the gixxers man, i used to have a busa but i sold it cause i wanted more than a point and shoot bike in saying that, there wasnt many things that were able to keep up.... a turbo busa running nitrous is a pretty insane thing to sit on when its pushing close to 300hp at the back tyre, u learn to hold on reallllly effing tight lol now i have a tricked up brand new R6 painted bright orange its my baby, and my gf hates it, because the bike lives in the lounge room LOL
  19. yer, they are one of the more difficult cars to modify, if u didnt know, try finding nissan gazelle stuff, they are the exact same car just named differently

  22. i run a forged motor every day, dunno how it will go with the cold u guys get there though, cause i start mine and drive it straight away to get it up to temp as fast as possible, most of the damage inside a motor comes from the time getting to temp, so u will wear it more sitting there heating up the insides, but shouldnt be any more than a normal motor if its built right.... i know one of my old forged motors in another car is still going 150 000km later and it runs like a dream
