i know this sounds silly. but did you chekc the HG before you put it on. a kink or tear in it will cause something like this. another thing worth considering is that when your head gasket went. it may have slightly warped your head. did you undo the head in the correct way? detorquing the head in 2 stages?

i cant say from experience, ive never owned a 4efe... but from what ive read they do help out a bit. they would give a similar result to fitting a rrfpr. they would flow more fuel per cycle at the stock pressure, instead of forcing more fuel in via higher pressure like the rrfpr.

Loud whiiiiiiring noise, whilst sitting inside car
StarletRick replied to Glanza_Ragger's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
there is 2 bolts that hold the alternator in. one on the pivot at the bottom then one at the top (near the dipstick). the bottom one is a 14mm and just slides out. the top one you can reach from underneath, you need a 6 inch extension bar for a ratchet and its a 12mm bolt. its pretty easy to change out. on a speed run i could probably do it in 15 mins. lol. -
ill get you some pics up mate. but they are a light shade of blue. i took them out myself, and it was definatly a S. i saw the car. and the engine had the 4 branch on it and also had the DIS ignition system, so it it was absolutely a glanza s. no question about it.

ive got some pads ill sell you for 20 quid if you want. brand spanking new, still in the toyota box.

ill take you for a spin in it at JAE geo..

3rd gear judders on a glanza... thats fuel cut, clear as day. get yourself a boost gauge if you havnt got one. it will get to 13 psi then it will judder. the problem isnt rev dependant, its boost dependant.

youll still need to pass a basic idle test, it realy depends on how well your car is running... -
you have to be pretty low on fuel for that to happen... tut tut, fill it up more regulrly!!
-
i will give it a wash soon ;p when the new wheels go on. and si, it may pull hard and be ube, but how unfun was that traffic.....

they are blue. and i got a set today. who wants to buy them!
-
the FC ones fit perfectly. you just need to feck about with the plugs. they are the only hi imp injectors that fit, but youre running standalone. so it doenst matter i have the cruise ones, which are basically sard ones. ill have a look to see if i have the numbers

youd be able to see the ecu if you looked at the spec list... ;p its a HKS FconV Gold Pro. took it for a real drive today, did about 60 miles. engine has about 100 miles on it now and i took it up to 5,000 rpm, and it felt good! even with no boost, it is TORQUEY s feck. i accideltally let it bost to about 4 psi on half throttle at about 3.5k rpm. and it feels like CT9 at 1 bar. its a weapon. heres a shit pic i took today. Dirt FTW.

if you dont know what youre doing, DO NOT mess with them. youll **** the geometry up and/or break something. take it to a setup place to get it done like LEDA or someone.
