the 3k is the most lol engine ever. when you drop in some lairy cams they idle for lulz. Si's old one was the most tc car of all time.

never heard of this before. big ends are not usually a problem on the E series engines. have you checked the little ends in the piston? they could be loose causing the knocking. but, the knocking at 3k really does point towards big ends? are they sitting properly in the rods?

firstly, youre using a dawes device. they are not the most accurate things in the world. you need an electronic controller to enable you to set the gain on the actuator to give you constant steady boost. secondly. get a good actuator. if you havent got a hks/jam one. get one. they help alot.

the biggest cause of cam wear is no/poor quality oil. without decent lubrication, they literally smash themselves to pieces.
