ebay/TM Developments/Yahoo/here/TGTT, there are loads of places. also, stop post spamming, i just had to delete 4 different thread that were exactly the same as this, it wont help you get an answer any faster.
140 atw from an NA 2 litre will be alot nicer than from a 4e. 4e is too revvy to start. SR20s make loads of lowdown torque aswell. also, mounting the engine would be a prick with a 4e, youd need to have some custom gearbox stuff made up that would prob cost more than hes spent on the whole sr.
there are other, MUCH better 2 litre engines. (honda K series for example) thats what im saying. not saying they are shit (i have one afterall) but they are not the best thing in the world.
are they SS or mild? ss ones dont usually respond well to re-welding. but mildsteel ones are pretty secure once rewelded. id also wrap it up before it goes back on of it isnt already. manifold wrap can help stop then cracking. in this weather they cool down alot faster when off throttle and that is the main cause of cracking. wrapping them up helps then cool down at an appropriate rate and can help with cracking problems.
i wouldnt say it was poor, unless i had used one. they have TERRIBLE gain control. by terrible i mean, they dont do it at all. ie. pants. for the money, idrather spend a few extra quid and get a blitz/greddy unit.
mine are not OE toyota, i had them custom made from billet brass. they are alot better than the stock items and really firm up the shift. loads of people on here use them, and rate them.
cant beat a stock airbox tbh. unless you get the filter right in the bumper with a proper flow of cold air, the heatsoak will own your soulz. stock airbox with a K&N filter is de win.
