  1. it wasnt a lightweight version. you had the option in japan to remove luxurys to lower the selling price. basically, the owner in japan was a cheapskate ^^ the weights of them vary, depending on how much stuff was removed.
  2. theres no such thing as too much tc. its more a case of how much can your body physically tolerate before it is oversome with epic power, crippling you for ever. also.
  3. KYB New SR's with RS*R Ti2000 springs. best setup in all of the kingdom.
  4. just plug the hole up. BOVs are for pussies anyway.
  5. the hks ones fit with a funny circlip flange, youll have to get one to weld onto the piping. look on ebay.
  6. if you went to a car parts place, and they didnt have H4 bulbs, they need to be shot/stabbed. like, H4 is everywhere, you could rpobably buy them in tesco.
  7. toad ai606 is as reliable as old boots, and cheap. winwin
  8. thats the halfords stuff ^^ i can tell just by looking at it.
  9. i run a HKS standalone ecu, its my bitch and does what i tell it ^^ and my springs are a freeby, i dont want them
  10. 2 things that are suseptible to high revs are... con rods and valve springs. the rods should be fine at 7500. the only thing that suck are the springs, they are very weak and promote floating of the valves. you at jae? i have some fte springs in the garage you can have.
  11. the fe and the fte have the same cams. the difference is the springs. if you want to raise the rev limit, get some fte valve springs and youll be able to easily rev to 7500 with out trouble.
  12. if it was sent by USPS it will be at a parcelforce depot. and they, are massive cunts.
  13. i will now be arriving early friday morning, because kennedy is a prick and cant organise flight times properly. ^^
  14. wullie mate, you need to see my starlet ^^ it wubs flames.
  15. you dont need one no. i dont have one. i have mine running yo a catch tank. just make sure that if you run both the vents in the cam cover to a catch tank that you MUST HAVE A VENT IN THE CATCH TANK if the tank isnt vented youll cause a world of problems.
  16. get yourself a proper racing radiator for an eg6 civic. that should fit and help cool things down. have you check you dont have any air in the system?? that can cause heating problems.
  17. i achieved what i wanted out of the glanza, its one of, if not the fastest glanza in the country. i dont know of any other starlets that run 300hp on low boost ^^ its just time to move on, the s15 is WAY more comfy that the glanza and its also quite nippy. i will end up with anoter starlet i recon, its in my blood ^^
  18. the halfords stuff, is better than gunk. idle the car till its warm, then turn the engine off. it foams up and covers everything. leave it on for 5 mins, then rince it off with a hose, and just be careful around the plugs. start the car up again till its dry.
  19. your pcv wont open up if it isnt attached to the pelnum, its vacuum operated. i dont have a pcv at all, and i pass my mot ^^
  20. use halfords citrus foam. it is the best engine cleaer ive ever used, by a mile. i cant rate it highly enough. it is the win. its in a green and black tin. edit: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...ategoryId_77322
  21. lol ^^ not quite. its a bit more scientific than that. water under pressure has a higher static boiling point. the higher the pressure, the higher the boiling point. thermal transfer depends on the differential between the surface producing the heat, and the surface taking the heat. so in theory, the higher temp in the rad fluid has a greater differential temperature than the air flowing through the rad. resulting in better cooling. sounds fancy eh? reality is, unless you rape your car around a track, youll never get the coolant hot enough to release the stock cap. if you are, th
  22. your car isnt tc sparky. if you actually dropped a bearing whilst at jae, then maybe it would contend.
  23. the pressure rating on a rad cap is the release presure, ie, the pressure within the cooling system required to open the cap and bleed the pressure off into the overflow tank. all a higher pressure cap does is raise the needed pressure to open the valve.
  24. depends... it may or may not help.
