an actuator will do the trick. but, in the long run, its WELL worth getting an EBC.

got it in one cal. all the FCC does is remove the limiter, it doesnt adjust fueling. anything over 12 psi and youll need to start tweeking the fuel.
-
youll have to get a sard one of you want blue mate. yahio only do pink stuff. because they win. it does look like a glanza rad painted pink, but its still the best thing ever. i need my rad to be pink...

uprated valve springs are to stop valve floating. it all depends how high you rev the motor.

How could something so beautiful cause me so much pain?
StarletRick replied to tommywilsonuk's topic in Lifestyle General
it all depends on how savvy you are mechanically. you can change the head gasket for the price of one. itll take about 2 to 3 hours. but youll get done for probably 5 hours labour if you put it into a garage. so itll either be 50 quid or 350 quid. thats if the head is still ok and hasnt warped or something. what happened? was it behaving funny prior to it? was you giving it some toe? -
ive replied to you twice now mate... check your PMs. these cost 530 quid brand spanking new in japan. so base your offer on that.

Anyone else get a knocking noise with coilovers
StarletRick replied to Marc's topic in Lifestyle General
harry hasnt expressed himself that well... they are GREAT coilovers... but, they are not trusty. they dont like bumpy roads and are prone to leaking, similar to the JIC Magiks. great coilovers, but not that hard wearing. they are made for track use, not bumpy shit UK roads. ive had teins, and they died. i wouldnt buy another set unless i was building a track-only starlet. -
that will solve your problem. you owe me a kiss

just looked at pics of your bay. the front nipple on the actuator goes to the compressor housing, as you have it. but what have you done with the nipple on the back on the actuator? i see you dont have the pipework on the side of the pulley cover. this nipple should be open to the air. if yoube blocked that off itll only boost low. thats how the standard boost solenoid works. it is a dual port actuator setup and it restricts the airflow to regulate boost. i suspect thats the problem. give me a call if you want a heads up when you have your head in the engine bay.
-
have you got the solenoid installed bourkey? could be that stopping you boosting.
