they dont fit the UK NAs or the Mk 1 GTs. just so you know.
-
the only way to check bearing damage is to strip them out. just fill it up. and start it . if its fucked youll know about it and eitherway youll have to rebuild it mate.
-
starving the oil will cause many many problems. it depends how quick you got it. put oil in and start it up. what have you got to lose? if you need an engine rebuild, it doenst matter how much damage is being done.
-
ah rite they must have moved.
-
fuck that, youll get a bike bloke to make that up for about 3-400 quid mate. get the yellow pages out and have a look.
-
fucking hell! thats proper cracked! good thing is that manifold isnt complex. youre best bet is to find a bike exhaust guy and get him to make it out of mild steel.
-
one thing with these. make sure they are warm when you lay the paint on. because its a lump of metal, it holds the cold really well. and can lift the primer when drying. i put mine on the gas hob for a few mins before i painted mine!
-
how intricate is it mate? you got any pics.
-
if youve received settlement, then its done. if it was settled, how can they claim subrogation against you/your insurance? do you have pics of the accident?

typical jap car sales place. none of them cars are in stock, youll find 30 other sites with the same cars "in stock". its just a web showroom, and if you buy it, theyll go buy the car for less than its advertised. same old story with 99% of the jap sites.

the point si was making was that for the same money, you can get MUCH better wheels for the price, if you look for them. tbh, the only ones that really let go hard are the flimsy designed ones like the CE28 reps etc. because they just dont have enough structure to cope with load. the te37 copys wont snap like that, but the quality is still questionable. if you thumped a curb they may dent or crack easier than a forged wheel. i just know what id be buying if i had the choice of a new set of rotas or a virtually new, second hand set of Rays.

unfortunatly mate, it wont be mapped by this friday. its going in on monday! its a shame you couldnt come down a few days later. its being mapped about 15 mins from stanstead, you could have popped over and watched! that said, im not raelly up for raping it about atm. i dont mind the odd blap here and there, but it may be pretty boring on the cams, lol. you must bring the cams along to jae though. can make a mint video ^^
-
yeah no need for that, good old rinse out will be fine.
-
where is it? stanstead isnt too far away...
-
that is fucking gay mate. i hope you get this sorted out.
-
but theyre rotas ;) best way to buy wheels in japan is in pairs. you can get wheels SILLY cheap doing that. takes longer to get a set, but they are cheap. and sometimes can pick up some new sets for a few hundred.
-
i never said new ;) but you can pick up a good second hand set for that in japan matey.
-
it isnt really essex tbh. TDI is in good old Barking, which is more east london than it is essex.
-
i can ^^.
-
go to B&Q get some Dulux one-coat and a brush ^^ job done mate.
-
put it in the dishwasher mate ^^ just give it a real good clean up first. i wouldnt worry about it
-
they are on the yahooz constantly. but they are quite pricey
-
its enroute apparently. it will get there mate. ive had this happen before with DHL. my local deport seem to misplace things far too often. i may have to look for a new courier service.
