  1. Well if yours are getting low any way, for not much more you may as well go uprated ;) The setup you mentioned will be perfect mate
  2. Unlucky budd. Definately the heater matrix gone. Thats one hell of a bitch job to do.Have fun!
  3. People with Teins tend to drive UBER SLOW. Mainly because they feel every little bump and loose bit of gravel in the road. Unless you get a set of Teins with softer spring rates, forget them. I went for cuscos with a softer spring setup. The general set of Teins from japan will make youre starlet pretty much useless on our roads. There designed for tracks and japanese road which are far smoother than ours. As lobotomy stated, thats exactly why they allways burst and piss fluid everywhere inside youre arch. Either go for a very soft set of springs or go for a different brand. I know a guy wit
  4. Have a look in the how to section. Ive done a guide.Removing the actual condensor unit from behind the dashboard is mega hassle. Unless you feel like taking the whole dashboard out, forget it.The main part that weighs so much is the compressor pulley system. Obviously if you did feel like removing it, and going to the bother, go to toyota and order a blanking plate to cover the hole in the firewall where the 2 outlets come out.
  5. The seller may claim they have covered only 20k miles, but have they or not. Make sure you get some kind of guarantee that there not leaking or faulty. Dont want to pay £400 and upon opening them up, there pissing fluid out. £400 is pretty steep imo, you could pay another £200 ish more and get brand new d2's But then again im not a lover of Tein's so im not the best person to comment i suppose. They leak wayyy to easy and the prices are mad. IMO go for D2's, bargain price and spot on quality.
  6. Postage plus a fiver for a drink lol I dont need them so if they come in handy for somebody else then why not.
  7. well i have a full set of brand new rota center caps.. If you could measure youre caps you need ill measure mine and let you know if they will fit. Dont slap hoooge wheels on a starlet. Keep em dinky ;)
  8. As long as it isnt a Greddy Profecb II... it will last ;) Some people say the dual solenoids are more responisve but you wouldnt really tell the difference. Dual sbc's are damn good controllers.Very easy to setup too. Im running an AEM TruBoost Controller now, due to my profec dying a painfull death after failing on me! (Being thrown in the garbage crusher)
  9. Wise choice going for braking mods. Im running 3g 10groove discs, Mintex extreme pads and earls braided lines on motul fluid. Grips plenty for my driving and resists fade pretty damn well. £300's for quality braking is well worth it in my opinion. I wouldnt bother uprating the calipers unless youre running mega power or trackday it lots.
  10. Welcome to the club Fi. What type of alloys have you ordered? I may have a set of brand new center caps that MAY fit. In matt black atm but can be coloured to suit.
  11. If the testers told me i had failed id bend them over and get the lube out Sorry but they will pass easily with out cats, ive allready told many people on here that they will. As VTRick said, comes under fast idle test only. No visual cat check etc. If they fail it, there testing it against a n/a 4efe guide. Tell them .. OIT NO! ...then bend them over
  12. Not as packed YET.. Had lotsss of new members sign up since its been up and running again. Plus all the members on here arent just on here to post bitchy posts as some people are on tgtt it seems lol.. Well other than ecks, hes just a bitch full stop .

  14. Ouch! Ive slipped and done the same thing many times. Last time i did it, i had the turbo hanging off my mates golf, mmm flappy skin. Gotta love it
  15. Its only illegal if she never drives the thing lol
  16. Oh right. Nice find man. Wish i had a gt at 17! I had to start off with a 1.1 fiat punto untill i could afford a faster motor. Even that leaky old 1.1 was 1800 on insurance
  17. Ahhh thats more like it.. Missed 3 digits off the number haha Still a damn low price! Nice find.Ebay jobbie?
  18. Exactly as my good freind just asked lol £1 ?!?! Was the seller high at the time ? Im sure you will get insured, but it may cost you a few limbs being youre first car
  19. Welcome to UKSC matey. So you want to turn to the dark side (ep91) Very good choice if i may say so myself!
  20. Welcome Bud! As i say to all the new guys, Hope you enjoy youre stay Thats a clean looking gt you have there. Nice list allready, All good things come to those who wait Enjoy! £1 ?! <-- edit ! didnt notice that part
  21. Im guessing youve seen the TD05 on tgtt? Bye bye response.. Hellooooooo lag monster lol Allthough when it does boost up itll be savage. All depends what you want to use it for ? Track and street drivability will be basically useless. Drag would be more suited to that
  22. Take the 4 screws out, holding the cover onto the ecu.. And on the board the pins are numbered. Just look for 12 lol
