Speak to Turbo Dynamics about a ct9 hybrid. Good for up to 1.5bar max. Should be more than capable of around the 250 mark as long as youre engine can cope. Also speak to Dave Burwash, He sells stunning hybrid ct9's of the same spec as mine. You dont need a remap for just a gutted cat/decat and/or uprated manifold/ported manifold. Obviously one would be ideal, but its not essential.

Welcome along bud. Glad you took my advice and joined up by the way, i have pm'ed you about the pfc fcon.
-
Oh righty.Sorry yeah i misread Rich If the leads are damaged, then yeah, it may feel a bit shite at higher rpms.Youre not going to be getting enough current through the lead to create the sparks bud. Whack some newones on and she should be fine. Glad its feeling better finally though bud

They can smoke alot for a good few hours after being freshly rebuilt. They have to burn the oils off. Dont just go paying for a recon if it might not need it bud.. Replace the hose and see how it goes.

I need a straight drink now, calm me down. And i thought i had a lot of bad ass roundabouts in my area -
Nobody has compained about Keith, It does take a lot for them to run a forum on such a scale. What were saying is, they will have a lot of people getting upset about paying if theres still the bitchyness on there. Put it this way, if uksc needed £10 a member to continue, i wouldnt think twice about it.The monet would go straight over. Its pennys in real terms, We all respect the forum owners. But as its been said, SOME of the mods do seem to use there powers to overkill. If it has a few very minor changes, i will pay the fee and no doubt all the old members will too.

Amen Rick. Thats exactly what i mean about other clubs offering little packages. Totally agree with you, all it means is you will still be seeing more and more starlet owners driving about, but there will be less "oh i recognise you off of tgtt.com. No doubt itll soon be, oh youre ---- off of uksc I agree with you too about them having to create a public setion to get a bit of interest, people wont pay untill they have a feel and start enjoying to post on the site. Thats the good thing about having a donations tab.If youre a regular user of the site, donate.Dont force people to pay unless there is some kind of benefit from it. Be honest now shelly will you be paying up to become a member?
-
Not being funny, but if everybody was to pay 10euros each, they could at least send off some website vinyls. I highly doubt ill ever sign up and pay if the bitchyness doesnt stop. Thats why i live on this site, everybodys laid back. How it should be

70 quid for new leads? Buy some magnecores for that bud. There burnt because of the fuelling bud, Attack them with a spark plug brush, and give them a spray with the water repellant. Did you check the gaps when they were out ?
-
Are you being serious shelly ? Isnt that a tad harsh to say the least? Some of the mods are the main ones who snap at people!

Right my view. I hardly ever post on tgtt.com BECAUSE, there is way too much bitchyness on there. say for instance, youre trying to sell an item. You get some traders on there slating youre item and/or price etc. Another instance,Some of the longer registered members on the site seem to have an instant grudge against the newew members. Why?! they may be new, but its a good thing. If it wasnt for the new guys buying the cars, there wouldnt be half as many items for sale.Half as much help for when the sh!t hits the fan with youre car.. And just plain wrong views. If people havent got something good or helpfull to say, dont say nothing. I personally, will definately not be paying to re-register to the new site.It could be 1euro for all i care, im not paying to be another "noob" amongst "elites" who have got nothing better to do than to sit on there waiting for somebody with only half the postcount as them, to pop off at! Dont get me wrong. There are some amazing guys/girls on there. Also some spot on traders (Dave Burwash,Toby etc) But the ratio of quality/helpfull people certainly doesnt match the number of useless, little idiots who just want to slag off people who dont have much of a clue. As allready has been said, you wont get most of the fellow jap owners helping and viewing the site. You wont be getting new members joining etc. Bad move in my opinion. Also im not good at maths, but say there was 100 members (theres obviously way more than that) but 100 x 10euros a pop.Thats some mega money. Im pretty damn sure the servers not going to cost uber money. Are they even going to send out freebies.Such as other clubs do (mitsi lancer register, skyline owners club, civic sport etc) Monthly newsletters through youre door, spaces on club stands, discounts with bigger parts companys etc. I highly doubt it. I just feel for the traders on tgtt mainly, id have seriously thought its going to affect how much stock they sell. Some people such as me, only go on tgtt just to view the traders sections.. Its just a shame i doubt there will be as much information, classifieds etc

As long as youre getting a good reading then fine matey. I wouldnt take it off the bov though as you will get an un-steady reading id have thought.

Welcome Bud. Get a few pics of youre starbo fired up. Hope you enjoy youre stay, no doubt you will

Nice banner lads. Good work, Looks rather swish if i may say so my self

Yeah, the turbo timer will live when you turn ignition on.Which is right. Normally you just wire a normal gauge into the sidelight illumination wire, but as yours is digital like my aem gauges, you want the igntion on live. You can earth it anywhere inside the car.Just use a tester to find a decent earth.Try the lower parts of the dash panels, where they screw into the door shut. Inside the driver side footwell,The bottom right dash screw.Normally has a couple of earths to it anyway. If it hasnt, just scrape a bit of paint off, and run the wire to there. Yeah the filter stops oil vapour from damaging the gauge.Boost controllers use an inline filter too for the same reason. And for the t-piece fitting, look at youre inlet manifold. On the far left next to the fpr and idle control valve, its the one on top.Has a vacum line going to it.T into there.

Praise the lord it didnt say "i donttt think so - POP"

They will check the fuelling etc but to set the boost controller up , they might not use the rollers. To put the turbo under pressure probably do it on a road.Thats what the tuners around my area do matey Just give them a bell and ask

As sparky said, ive seen plenty of n/a's giving the vtr's a run for there money, you'll wipe the floor with a vtr. Where as a vts is a different story. Dan off here sold his black gt advance, and bought a vts.UBER rapid. vts's will pull higher up the rev range and also higher speeds.Simply because the ct9 runs out of puff. unless the fte is tuned I costs mega money to get a saxo past the 160/70 bhp mark.

No worrys Enzo. If it says 0.95 thats probably bar yeah mate.Just check in the settings, follow the manual on the web to figure out how to check. They take a while to get set right. Best bet mate, is to take it to a rolling road yeah, they will hook up wideband, egt and ddet listening equipment to check its running right. Also tell you what % injector usage youre using and give you advice if somethings not quite right.Thats if there a decent place. Some shabby places will just give you a graph and thats pretty much it. For now though bud, get a boost gauge , get it fitted and that will give you a better reading than the digital screen on the profec
-
LOL @ Bigfoot. Every penny helps that you can save bud. Just because it involves a bit of splicing some people get put off by the idea because it involves the ecu loom. As long as youre SURE of the right wires, its a doddle. @ Turbo , you said you dont know what boost its running...Does this mean you havent got a boost gauge fitted? If you havent, i would make that a priority over fitting any other parts. With out a boost gauge you have no idea how the car is running. It might only be boosting to 1/2bar or overboosting something crazy risking youre engine. If you havent got a gauge yet, you can go into youre profec b settings, and turn the digital reading to bar, instead of psi. Not the best thing to use to read boost, as the digits move around so fast but it will give you an idea. The reason the boost is going up and down like a yo-yo is because you have youre set gain, and gain settings wrong. Turn all the settings down to there lowest percentage, and find an open non public stretch of road. Also turn the limiter and warning modes OFF - but keep an eye on the boost pressure reading.when it gets near 1bar, let off the throttle. I use the local industrial estate at night , its allways dead and the road leads no where. with the SET @ 0 GAIN @ 0 START BOOST @ 0 make a start. Turn the SET up 5% at a time, get full boost and keep an eye. When the boost reaches youre desired level, make a start on the GAIN setting. turn the GAIN up 5% at a time, giving it a drive on full boost after each time you apply it. As soon as you see the boost spiking (going over the desired level) knock it down 1% or 2% untill its not spiking nor dropping off at higher rpms. You want a consistent pressure, if the boost rises the more revs youre giving it, raise the gain level 5%. When it goes over the desired pressure, drop it off a few percent. START BOOST is the reaction time of the solenoid, the aim of this, is to set it as high as possible with out boost spiking. Try and get the percentage as close to the SET percentage as possible, with out any spikes in pressure. Just remember when altering the GAIN setting, it can raise the SET pressure by itself. So whilst youre playing with the GAIN, you may need to knock the SET (desired pressure) down a few knotches. Thats the best i could describe how to adjust it bud, Limiter and Warning are simple. When you have consistant boost pressure, with out spikes or drop offs, set youre warning level. I used to run the boost on my profec at 0.85 bar , with the warning set 5% higher than the set level. and the limiter at 10% higher. Just incase it spikes in cold nights, the limiter is there to drop pressure off automatically.

Bah fcc bcc fcd definately make sure youre fuelling spot on with that fitted matey. Its a good feeling when you find hidden treasures like that huh
