So! An Update At Last! Its been so busy for me over the past 6 months! Anyhoo! Here goes! JAE! Got there late and just managed to get my tent up before we lost all the light. Thank god. Some lads from Studio38 came wandering around and said they were looking for a car to put in there show and shine display in one of the sheds at the showground all day. Now, since John wasnt there, someone thought it was a brilliant idea to recommend me. Despite the fact I hadnt even had chance to detail the car. Drongo and Alex then went completely nuts, running round like crazy blokes cleaning the car for me. Sterling job they did too, and into show and shine it went! Looked stunning, was so impressed. So credit where its due chaps! Then into Show n Shine it went! Then of course, sterling job by Staff at UKSO as always. The CLub BBQ was put on for everyone. It seemed to go down well as always! JAE was as always, fucking exceptional and I FULLY recommend it to anyone! Get it done! Also got to give TrisK a passenger ride, as he has been waiting years and it was only fair. Hope he enjoyed!

stem seals can be done without taking the head off if your clued up. So not a huge biggy! However, if you want to refresh the gasket/cambelt/water pump. nows a good time to do so.

k20 is the best 4cyl engine in the world. So correct choice. Issues your going to encounter: 1, Unlike keeping things within the same family. (Toyota) differences between engines and chassis, means more custom work. Clocks, some connectors, some elements of driveshafts, linkages. etc are much more likely to work with a Toyota Engine. 2, Height. The K20 is a very tall engine. You dont realise how small a 4E-FTE is until you look at other 4cyl engines out there. The K20 engine in a ep82 in jdm, if you've ever seen a shot of the car from a low angle, it has NO ground Clearance. So ideally the engine would need to be raised. Which would in turn need the engine raising up. Which is bad. Pointing back at 4AGE or 2ZZ? 3, Custom work. Welding and Alot of precise metal fabrication required! Have u got the skills to create driveshafts, engine mounts, brackets, pipework and exhausts from scratch. 4, Space. When i first went to put my 2zz in my glanza. With it sat on tis mounts. YEH, loads of space. It soon got full! There is very little room in the firewall area, so be prepared for tight working areas. Makes working on a 4E peasy!
