Cant be that it would do it all the time if it was... It could be a fueling issue if it does it when you get to a certain boost level...
-
100% a missfire.... New Spark Plugs would be the first step, followed by a new king lead/set of leads, failing that new dizzy cap and rotatory arm... The above will fix your issue...
-
Get shorty to weigh the fuckers then

Obv if gears have been swapped but 95% of time people just throw them away and put another box in.
-
http://www.gearboxman.co.uk/inforatios.html Allows you to use tyre size to work out what you should be getting using the ratio inputs from the 2 boxes..
-
Speedo converters are all the same ratio... Tyre sizes will matter... My C52 box maxes at 98mph in 3rd.... 195 50 15 tyres aaddzz123 said his limited at 90mph in 3rd bang on on 195 45 15 tyres... Looking at his casting he has had a c56 box this whole time so... Its interesting...
-
Ah so many earlier glanza's were blessed with the C52 then...
-
According to the digging ive done online yes... but if so many people have them on pre-facelift glanzas then maybe its only later glanza boxes that are like this! Its all research tho, so please post up your findings... thats the whole point of the wiki afterall!
-
someone with a pre-facelift glanza hit the limiter in 3rd please!
-
See wat u can get in 3rd gear on the limiter folks!
-
Put together some useful information for you lovely members! Differences between the two boxes and how to identify them apart! http://www.ukstarletowners.com/page/articles.html/_/drivetrai/c52-gt-turbo-vs-c56-glanza-gearboxs-r45 Hope this helps someone! Regards Socks

Anything under 6kg each is light tbh... But when you have wheels around or under the 4kg mark that is just silly!
-
Aware of this, but there are a lot of rims that aren't relevant and a lot of JDM rims missing too! Making a topic/wiki section just for us

Same, quite surprising isn't it...

Anyone got some stock glanza wheels to weigh? Didn't realise SR wheels were that heavy!
-
Often overlooked when building a trick starlet... The lighter the wheels the less rotational mass... Check out this brief list of the most popular wheels used on starlets to see how yours wheels may fair! http://www.ukstarletowners.com/page/articles.html/_/wheels-tyres/wheel-weight-list-r44 If you have any other wheels that aren't on the list please get them weighed and post them up!
-
Having lightweight wheels keeps your starlet feeling like its much lighter on its feet. Below is a database that members of UKSO have put together to compare weights! The perfect Size & Offset wheels for these cars is considered to be 15"x6.5" ET38. The Lighter the wheels the Faster you will go! The list is going to be sorted via Weights, and it will only contain 14",15" & 16" Wheels as these are the most common wheel sizes to fit to our cars! 3.9kg - Desmond Rega Master EVO - 15x6.5 3.9kg - SSR Type-C - 15x6.5 4.0kg - Volk TE37 - 15x6.5 4.2kg - Volk TE37 - 15x7 4.3kg -
