  1. There was a particular boost gauge I wanted for this car. Because the colour scheme matches the GT Clocks Perfectly! Managed to find a brand new one in JDM... So over it came! There were some holes in the dashboard that a 'PRICK' previous owner had used screws to attached what I can only assume was a gauge before me. So I used the same holes and covered them with a gauge. Then very tidily ran the hose and electrical wires down the gap and after removing the A/C Buttons (A/C is gone), ran them through the hole. So no further butchering was done. I cant stress enough to people. NEVER EVER, cut holes in the fucking dashboard. TWAT MOVE... To my surprise, after already fitting an actuator and increasing the boost to what I THOUGHT, was the right level. I was only boosting to 0.3bar. Guess im just not used to CT9's haha. So a bit of extra tension on the actuator, to my surprise... Spool was MUCH faster and 0.6bar is bang on. Holds it to the redline too. Amazing for a CT9 really. Wish i'd have done it sooner. I could have put a bigger gap between me and akyakapotter on track at JF2 . Also, got my hands on some Pioneer Carrozzeria JDM Shelf Speakers. Makes a nice change actually. To have decent sound in a starlet. Usually so rubbish! Then came the night time. Only In Japan...

  5. So do I! A lot. Very different to a 4E-FTE! Quite happy to take anyone out in it to be honest. Coming to that. Technically I haven't put the slam panel back. We've just molded the radiator into the shape of it Tbh tho. The funny part is how people in general have just tried to copy every last innovation on the car. One of the reasons I went ahead with this setup in the first place. We didn't use any loom what so ever from the Corolla other then connectors. The wiring loom is made from scratch. Completely custom. No obd2. All done through standalone ecu. It has all protection and safety parameters set up however. In case of a failure. No it wasn't. I wish I was tho! Right. Sorry I haven't had chance to update this. Been super busy. There have been a few issues with the car, nothing drastic though. A large amount of tiny problems. Instead of one big serious problem. First thing I will say is the engine hasn't gone bang or anything drastic like that lol. Sorry to disappoint those select few! The small issues we have been having are as follows: Heat into the bottom of the bonnet. The manifold turbo and downpipe are all in a very tight area. My plan was to use more reflective gold protection after sanding the underneath surface smooth. However the heat has already got to the bonnet and has bubbled/damaged the paint finish. So it's being run with no bonnet at the moment. Lifters may also be used or needed. The design of the bonnet is also another issue. Cruise/Varis etc. They all take heat away from the front area of the engine bay. Where it's nice and cold now. The heat is all at the back lol. The dashboard talks perfect to the ecu via CanBus. However. Getting it to work with the rest of the car. (Lights) is a pain. Having to convert the rest of the car from switch-able live to switch-able earth which is another pain in the arse. An oil leak appeared last week on the dyno while mapping. So the moroso sump has had to be re sealed. Which we think we have cured now. The car starts, runs, drives, and has done some pulls on the dyno. No figures to really talk about as of yet. But it's back on the dyno now. It's been a long old slog and it's starting to piss me off to be honest. But not giving up, won't be beaten. Unlike a lot of others would/have! No need to fear the worst from no updates folks. I tend to update when there is something worth mentioning to be honest. Hopefully the next time there will an awesome graph and video to share with you all.

  19. Jokes Aside... Good to see you back in an EP lad!
  20. Cams need to be carefully spec'd with the rest of the spec... I was on stock cams. Stock cams are more then good enough tbh for big power! Unless your revving to 9000rpm, mahooosive garrett. I cant see hugely lary cams like that being needed!
  21. I was going to chin that parking marshall. Proper cock that bloke! Wasn't our fault they gave us an A3 piece of paper sized stand to park 70 cars on. Track was good, the in-field is better then I thought tbh! Enjoyed it hugely! Until our good friend Mr/Bussey got lost at the start of the pit lane and had to get recovered the last 8 meters of it, red flagging the session for 10mins!
  22. Get lots of pictures if you do go
