are you handy with a welder?

10w40 will be fine mate, there's no scientific reason why 10w30 will be any better, it all depends on the climates etc, japan climate is very different to ours, thus 10w40 seems to work better over here.

i believe the runners are quite a bit different mate, if you're gonna go to that much effort then you may aswell get a manifold custom made.

get photos up you jews.

but the important question is, are you the pie queen..

nub. It is a colt, but no, it's not that small. Think its around 40quid for a full tank if it was to fill up completely, but i just dumped about 30quid in which was around 3/4 of a tank or so, basically all the cash i found in my back pocket at the time.

filled up my colt yesterday for 99.9p, thought i'd get in there while its low. if it drops again, i'll top it up

Well pfc's are actually quite dumb, there are many alternative non-bolt on management systems that are FAR superior to PFC's, link, ems, fcon I've etc etc, so yeah, any will be worth a try, but at the end of the day it is ALL down to the tune, even the best management on the world will be crap in the wrong hands. So whichever you do go for, make sure the person who tunes it knows the system, the car/engine and the setup very well, otherwise you'll never get the most out of it. You may find its just unsuitable for drag, at which point i expect you'll diverse and use it for track use et

I have one of those SARD filters on the way over for my S14, should be here this week when i eventually get the bloody customs letter through the post :/ The sr20det ones have a lovely little SARD embossed block to attach it to the intake pipework, does look lovely, its a bit dirty but cant go wrong for 5quid Nice to see how they look when clean too (bit of petrol and a dyson will clean it up ;)). looks good mate

Be interesting to see what it'll do at drag, as starlets arent ideally suited to it at the best of times. Will definately be down to the driver in that respect, someone with considerable experience etc, thats what makes or breaks drag times at the end of the day, well, when you get up with the big boys anyway. I imagine with your setup it'll be quite interesting around a track, providing the chassis is correctly fettled with, will be far more useful than drag anyway, just because they never make particular good drag cars. If you have wild cams then it'll certainly suit a track with alot of str

mikey, you saying you wont be able to get a job for 3months? mate, there are jobs everywhere. If you've gotta work in a supermarket for a few months until you get a new job then so be it, it pays the bills isn't it, just do whatever brings in the cash until you get back on your feet. also stop moaning, come karting.

you can buy EP3 civic type-r's for 4k now, which are like, one of the best handling (as stock) cars on the market, as a package they're lush, my friend's just sold one for about 4.5k and it was immaculate, credit crunch has just hit him hard, so ye, that'd be an easier way to a quicker motor, would be an all round package too ;) still, it wouldn't be yellow...

i did have long hair, about 4 years ago ;]

i'm the one in the white t-shirt stickering up the sexy women's bottoms.

Indeed they are a subsidiary of Enkei, I would have guess either enkei's or SpeedStar's, so yeah, least you now know what they are. Bare in mind the exchange rate, 1200dollars or around 600quid for a set is about right for new wheels, however that was a while back, the ones on the auctions now are basically new and can be had for a hell of a lot less. Least you know you can replace them should you have an accident or get aggressive with a pot hole, which is always a good thing, we'll obviously be able to sort you out if that should happen. Car looks good mate.

tc bottom stickors ^;

HKS produce very good cams, in a variety of duration and lift. Providing you match them with suitable valve springs then they'll produce the required output ;) They'll also work with alot of manufacturer's varieties of variable valve timing, unless you decide to remove it completely and use something alternative, such as their own adjustable pulleys, either way they're very good units. I've not seen any damaged except for scoring on the lobes, but thats usually due to other factors having gone wrong within the engine (spray bars blocked etc). 282 on a starlet will be...interesting Will very

well doesn't matter between the two, he's changed everything so that it is the same bloody car now anyways, the only differences would have been slightly exhaust manifold sensor differences and dash differences, along with the external changes, but thats all been altered now anyway so it may aswell be either (that stack dash is lovely).

not sure on the year, it may even be an older s14 just with s14a rear lights, who knows!

we'll cuddle him all night ye si, spoon him together.

I've not compared them directly, but the TC shifters are very similar to the TRD shifters, just ALOT shorter. The C's probably isn't as short as the TC shifters, however they do work in a slightly different fashion as i said, hence the metal frame work around the plastic shifter.

Its a strawberry faced s14, yes, however the front end is mainly FRP (i.e custom made), not much of it is actually original S15, whereas the rear is quite clearly still very much original parts. It is an s14, not an s15. :edit: tell a lie, the only bit that 'was' from an s15 were the headlights, which have now been modded, so its not even a strawberry face anymore, just a whole heap of awesome jgtc'ness ^^;
