i'll get onto both of that al, completely forgot if i'm honest ;d if i find either i'll let you know, i got a (small) shipment on the way over, so items like that would fit nicely in there, be quick and cheap still via ems.

might be worth replacing the rocker cover gasket whilst you're there, saves it leaking at a later date doesn't it.
-
why would you decat a bog stock almera ;) serves you right ;d

you need to sort that fmic bodged pipework mate, looks like quite a restriction in that, which you could do without as the core is quite large anyway, you want it flowing as efficient as possible. what was wrong with the original fmic pipework routes? what you've done there is just pikey, and prob what is causing your loss of power (or lag anyway).

good work al. however, i preferred your gold wheles. the rays just look a bit....common nowadays, sorry to say it, plus the gold speedlines did look far more dramatic against the white paintwork. white on white is a tad dull, but hey, they dont look bad, i just preferred it before. you big mincer. also, whats going on with that chrome gearknob? its revolting. looks like you've raided halfords ;/ i think i should get you a tom's one from japland, because that one is gay. your oil filter looks a little....ropey.....has it been changed in a while? it looks older than mark. which is old.

Craft Square mirrors and TDi...a few pics :)

that is very, very light... be interested to see how it fares, i hope to god it isn't 'too' light. ;) -
no point mate, k26 needs alot more boost to get going, thus less response, whereas a k24 can be run within its efficiency curve which would prob produce more power with better response. k26 is within its efficiency curve at about 300brake, anything less and it'll feel like a laggy little prick.

on a larger engine (sr20det, rb26 etc), yes, but not on a 5E derivative. TD06's can be devestating, however there are MANY variants that can produce all sorts of power outputs. 500 would be interesting, and useless. Can you imagine trying to take a corner with that sort of power? You'd be dead, basically.

i understand what he means, and yes, swapping is perfectly feasible if he finds a tidy gt with some goodies on it.

its a woman thing them horns. any bloke that has them needs his testicles removed.
-
well thats alot of evos. having them all parked by colour i find a little....gay.

if your clutch was slipping, you shouldnt have been driving it, especially if its so bad that you cant get up a hill. if you tell em that you may find yourself in further trouble to be honest, i'd keep it quiet.

tweak it up a tiny bit then mate, mine used to idle at that if not lower though, so its fine.

it's a universal item mate, like all electronic boost controllers. its two hoses (perhaps 3 for the evc, two for blitz dual-sbc's), and two wires. it aint rocket science.

how is that rediculously cheap?? Pretty sure that seller's items usually incur customs / shipping tax fees when they land. I might have to bring some over if thats what they sell for ;] also rick or someone should be able to answer this, they know the fitment information of the ep82 box.

It's finally arrived! Boost Abuse's Glanza V
ecksjay replied to Boost Abuse's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
no, they don't. you of all people should be experienced enough to know that. just sound like a tgtt fan-boy speaking like that ;) The blitz access was obviously fitted earlier when he had certain mods, then he went for something mappable with a larger turbo for example and as such added the fcon for the added control, which has been established. either that or the previous owner just wanted some control, and got a deal on the fcon kit. Pre-mapped ecu's dont self learn, at all, ever. They have the same 'self adjustability' of the standard ecu's, except they're mapped by the manufacturer to ac -
its a must because the stock brakes are shit. ofcourse power has something to do with brakes, if you can't stop when you're moving rapidly then its a death trap. there's a difference between slowing down safely and dangerously, the stock brakes are gash, especially when you're moving. be interesting to see what you'll make with it anyway. also, wasn't much point posting a pic if the only thing in place is a turbo precariously hanging there, hence asking about the cat etc. was merely an observation ;)

750 is normal when warm mate, its healthy ;) long as it aint stuttering its fine.

saw this car advertised in jap performance mag
ecksjay replied to briggers's topic in Lifestyle General
they're a pain basically mate. I import alot of parts for alot of cars, the hardest bits to find are for the 323's. i spent months looking for my friend and it was nigh on impossible to find the stuff he wanted, and the bits you can buy are MEGA bucks. he's a rally diehard fan and knew about them from an early age, which is the reason he wanted one, however for your average joe it may not be the most ideal car as even compared to starlets, parts are a nightmare to source. Like i said, andy's came from newera, and however 'mint' they look in the pics, i'd take it with a pinch of salt. I manag -
good luck with the sale gaz ;)

all i ask for is 5 minutes a week with it....and you have a deal.

A 1991 whatever GTI is the UK model, so no, thats not the right car. You will need to phone a specialist to get a proper quote, otherwise it isn't insured correctly ;) some people list it on their online sites but the majority wont, so best to call round and see. Also fuel economy is crap, pulsars aint great but 323's are worse. -
i'll spray it. i'll let you imagine how. me and rick have come up with our own colour, i'm sure many people on here have heard about it before. lets just say, it has alot of 'us' in it....
