  1. good work mate, is that turbo kit from the red one you had? Also, those rears arent 'technically' recaro seats, they're just OEM seats with the cruddy cloth used on the recaro seats draped over em, they never actually went anywhere near recaro. If you have the recaro fronts then you could get it all retrimmed, considering the work going into it it'd be nice to have a custom touch inside too, could come up with something nice in there to match the exterior
  2. congrats mate. by the way thats probably my kid, but i'll let you look after it whilst i'm at the pub. ;]
  3. thats because its a fucking rusting pile of shit with electrics that would be put to shame by even a french piece of shit. it'd be awesome, if it wasn't complete garbage.
  4. think it works a bit different in ireland? possibly, only reason tbh!
  5. Now it is, i've become putrid and disgusting in my old age. I love it. So....pies?!?
  6. The mani will be custom or from someone like cruise, although it's going to be endlessly cheaper to fab one up, there's a few guys running em on here though. Spool time i 'believe' to be around 3.5-4krpm, according to rick, although his is a TD06 so slightly larger (dave burwash has one though so he'll be able to comment further).
  7. im gonna crack one out to some porn. happy days.
  8. GT-SS might be a good shout, can get em easily cheap enough, although it will obv be more laggy than the CT9. Still a reasonably mild turbo though so may well be quite usable, either that or a stock S15 turbine, which is pretty much the same as a GT-SS.
  9. No his gearbox has been fine, they're only gash if you put stupid power through them, like 350-400bhp+. it is very easy to get power out of them though, as the turbo on them is, well, rather large... I found his thread but he doesn't have any pics of it after being lowered and with the wheels on, which is strange. i'll contact him and find out where the pics are
  10. are you sure? are you still using the OEM boost solenoid then yes? Get some pics of the engine bay matey.
  11. hhahahahahhahahahaha. serves him fucking right, that was crushed. bad.
  12. Its not my account mate, sorry. If i could i would ;)
  13. noone said to remove anything thats connected, just see if it is connected, and if its not, then whip it out and flog it on if it isn't needed ;) have you checked to see what else is on it? chances are if its got over a grands worth of ecu mods then it will have either had some silly turbo on it before, or the turbo on it now is aftermarket/modified.
  14. Are you sure its a boost controller? it may be the turbo timer, as those function as boost gauges also. Which version is it? either way they should use the same solenoid, if its the dual version. I'm not sure you can find the solenoids on their own, short of finding one with a busted face unit. Would you like me to have a look in japan for you?
  15. Awesome indeed. nice bits of kit actually, handling is phenominal, would put a starlet to shame, so much grip, especially as it is very adjustable, rear toe as stock, which is silly! My friend is selling one, he bought it from Newera a year or so ago. Has had lots of money spent on it and he's struggling to find a buyer. He paid a silly amount, 6k+ i think, and he's letting it go now for around £4k! Its white with goodies like pearl white Advan RC's, full £700+ Hayward & Scott custom exhaust system (turbo back), packed full of strut braces etc. Basically its lovely. I ca
  16. interesting, very interesting. have you made sure its actually all connected? looks like some plugs aren't connected up there, try and see if you can pull it out. it seems odd that they're both in there together, as the fcon will override everything that the blitz does, the blitz really isn't needed. the only reason i can think of for them both being there is that the car was far more modified before using the fcon, but after being put back to near-stock the blitz access was installed whilst the fcon was left in there as they couldnt be bothered to remove it. or something. check to see if i
  17. he's older than you cal. that doesn't say much though, as i'd consider the 4 year old thats shouting in my ear about how his birthday is only 10 days away to be older than you.
  18. he'll have internet so he'll probably respond to emails and pm's, but he wont have time to browse the forum as i believe he's working, except he's in the usdm'z.
  19. found some much better vids, on tsukuba and touge action for jam racing car ;d
  20. I'm not sure if rick has any left wallace, he is the keeper of that knowledge so it'll have to wait until he returns. I'm pretty sure they're all spoken for though, unless some are up in the classifieds section for those that are selling em on.
  21. the panel off the access ecu? um, a hks fcon pro wouldn't fit inside a blitz access. its far too large, unless its been transplanted into the blitz access casing.... get us some pics of it mate.
  22. oh dear god, shut up you child.
  23. 1500quid? girt bajesus. same with as my bloody 17's, although obviously the contact area is going to be less on 15's, you're always going to be limited in that respect. Fair play, they are massive. Dave's 15x10" MAG wheels came from the states, custom ordered for about 500quid which only tooks a few weeks, seems crazy that yours took so long. Were there not any off the shelf versions that you could choose from or did you want a specific spoke style?
