  1. filter is a filter mate, if its got a magnet in it, then would you really want it still within the flow of oil? sump plug perhaps, but filter, tbh, £2.50 nippon jobbie is all i've used without problems. they are oem quality and its filtering oil at the end of the day, no technical reasoning for one with a magnet in it to be any better. rick just likes magnets as they tickle his balls. oil is all about millers. millers is like, the win. serious, de, wins. have used valvoline durablend and its what (ex) tc-dave used in his race cars and his old man used it in his 800bhp+ ford pop, so i
  2. MAET ITS A 16VALVES OMGOM2
  3. montana, the problem is, they do crack. its pretty much a direct mirror of the sard manifold, and all of them crack for fun just due to the silly design of it. it has to be there though due to space though, they're so bloody cramped, gotta go somewhere. my friends HKS GT3037S Pro kit on his s14 took quite a silly route also, had the car jacked up and the wg was about half an inch away from the gearbox, quite scary when you consider the movement in the engine and gearbox (didn't touch though surprisingly).
  4. dont worry about it. let it run dry and ruin the cv. i did it once, its funny.

mk1's are my face, stick with the 4age, the 3s sounds pants in comparison (high revving 4a's send shivvers down me spine!). get it cammed up and let it rip. 800quid sounds alot for one though, unless its absolutely mint.
  7. you the guy who spoke to me on msn mate??
  8. at cost? well, cheapest online is mytyres, blackcircles and obviously, ebay. could get some part worns for good money. 18's are always bucks though.
  9. Hahaha! it is certainly my opinion, however as above, there is truth behind the comments. As stock, they are appalling. When modded, they can be made alot better, but they will still be inherently flawed and when compared with something that has a brilliant chassis from the factory (civic, focus etc, or anything else with control blade type suspension), they will never be as good as the competition. Thats with the same drivers ofcourse, as at the end of the day, its the drivers that make all the difference. The money you have to spend on them to get them going round corners is silly, it real
  10. jesus, between me and mark, there's enough experience to write our own TC karma sutra. admitedly, it'd be 300 pages of pies, but still...
  11. The Blitz you had preferred a stock fuel pump, the one I had however, did not. It ran far better and with far more urgency with a larger pump than the stocker. The majority of K1-200V tuned Blitz Access ECU's are mapped for 2JZ Supra fuel pumps (if they're ever sold as a kit, thats the pump which ill be sold with it). This ofcourse varies though, they don't all have the same tune, as i'm sure you know. Very interesting stuff.
  12. is that true about the bodywork being thinner on a GT? if it is then i assume they just had the ability to develop a bit further on the glanza (the GT bodywork does stem from 1989 mind, so that prob explains it).
  13. move this way so i can kick you all in the nuts. and meet with you. east coast fur de loss.
  14. If you want to change them, change them, however i think they look fine as they are. A nice wheel those are. In white they now look like Wedsport RS-5's, i know, i've had a few sets
  15. old games were pro. actual proper games, difficult or almost impossible. awesome storylines or just ube gameplay. and they didnt need fancy graphics to do it. those were the days. none of this need for speed SHITE.
  16. He's concentrated more on the chassis than under the bonnet then i assume? 355atw is relatively mild these days for a skyline, however if the chassis is well sorted then it'll be entirely more usable than say, a 600bhp motor in a relatively stock skyline (chassis wise). Be interesting nonetheless, i imagine on the long straights it'll show just why they are called godzilla (far more gradients in real life than on say, the games, thus the 4wd system will prove far more stable and controllable). either that or you'll all crash in a fiery blaze. either way is wins. Can you go round the ring in
  17. If thats the case, you can throw me the keys if i ever meet up with you. Would be interesting to see how it feels inside being in something that....stripped. Not really wanting to see how it pulls, just the experience overall really, as its got loads of little neat touches which make it a finished package as opposed to one outstanding bit.
  18. hows that paint lasting under the bonnet rich? i had a wierd thought. if it starts to fade and age...then....it may look a bit like....you've painted it....with poo....... perhaps................nice dull/dark brown....give it time Just a random thought, looks spotless at the moment though
  19. toddington? never heard of it.
  20. Well they certainly suit the car. Looks MUCH better than the OEM wheels. very nice. Dont get me started on rota's.....but, they do look good. Good choice.
  21. good few parts there yeah. A t28 would work, however the accompanying parts would run you up quite a bill, as it'll all need to be custom work. But yeah, it would work, if a tad laggy. Regarding the cat, there's plenty of info on here if you use the search function, if not then post a thread and we'll do our best to help. Would be a waste not to fettle it anyway considering it has a PFC, may aswell see what you can get out of her at least.
  22. we'll fucking camp wherever. it doesn't matter. as long as tc is there, it'll be fun ;]
