  1. no worries gaz, not much to get it up and running then really ;) i would only consider a real cheap model that, say, needed a new engine or something, by cheap i mean like the many round here at 800quid that have blown engines, 2.5k for something that needs work is a tad optimistic, got 2 motors already ;)
  2. some graphics can look very nice, i wouldnt slap them on the side of my car personally but i can appreciate that some do look good. that one you've shown however does look a bit tacky. not my cuppa tea.
  3. give me a shout when you're next out cleaning it and i'll pop round with the camera, and a very large bucket of lube. either of you.
  4. do it in the buff, take pictures/videos and then post them up for us. its a ritual that all forum newbies have to go through. its true. its uksc law.
  5. no, we're all gay. some of you just dont know it yet.
  6. rehorst-smith. both smiths. we're blatently related. mate, thats my brother and/or sister in there. blates.
  7. whats wrong with it gaz? how much were you flogging it for if you dont mind me asking? used to be quite tidy didnt it?
  8. i have seven penises. take that you earwig bastards.
  9. yeah as above, teins arent very low at all, 25mm or so. get coilovers if you can, or uprated shocks and springs, putting lowering springs on your shocks will reduce the ride quality and the life span of the shocks, as they'll prob die relatively soon if you go too low. also if you didnt know, the wheels are RPF-01's
  10. good luck, i'd just grow it back again, or steal someone elses ^^;
  11. Toby's been around for ages mate dont worry, shame its taking so long but as soon as they're available they'll be at your door, no need to worry
  12. how much you after for it matey?
  13. Crappy pics but shows how genuine it is. The crappy mudflaps were just for when he went to combe, rally slag style - they were red but faded, haha. thing they're off now but they're only screwed on anyways. it is a lovely motor, and the exhaust really does free up 50-60bhp. this ones prob knocking around 300bhp or so, maybe a tad less as he's turned the boost down slightly. Its got a rebuilt engine in it (only done a few miles tbh) and the turbo has been completely refurbed recently at a cost of over 500quid. Plenty of goodies on there like whiteline springs, exhaust, braces, blitz EBC, blitz
  14. what has insurance got to do with anything gilliano? the sort of people who have them dont really need to worry about insurance. you'd be hard pressed to find one anyway, let alone worry about insurance.
  15. um, the insurance is the cheapest place to get the windscreen done mate. in reality they cost about 200-300quid, depending where you go. go through the insurance and its usually 50-60quid, and you keep your no claims. it is THE cheapest way to do it. stop being such a tight arse.
  16. fensport will charge a fortune, if you can find an engine then any local garage could fix it mate. in bradford there will be bloody hundreds of starlet engines floating about.
  17. you can pickup 4efte engines from the likes of forums and ebay for about 350-450quid mate, i wouldn't pay much more than that personally as i know many people that have bought engines for that sort of money.
  18. I wouldnt have one. Ever. However, if you're talking alfa 75, may aswell go the whole hog, the Sprint Zagato, which was loosely based on the 75 chassis, except SO much prettier... ber lates.
  19. As above, he seems to be away. If you wanted them next day then you would have ordered something thats kept in stock, like D2's, Teins etc (d2's are essentially the same as the k-sports). As above, you were aware of the delay from the beginning
  20. Ok bud, well, if you want a solenoid then i could probably track one down.
  21. listen to what paul says, he's a man of experience - by god he's old enough.... Also, cal, jesus christ mate, just calm down and get some fucking experience under your belt. Its not just buying the car, its running it. Cossies were hard work when they were new, a 20yr old one would be an absolute money pit, most people that own them have had many years of experience with them and work on them themselves, as they really are high maintenance cars. Not only that, but you'd kill yourself in one. Find a bird to spunk all your money over (pun intended) and relax for a while, there's no need to gr
