10w-40. stay clear of Castrol GTX etc, as its crap and leaves vile deposits in the engine, of gunk and **** get yourself some Millers (make oils for motorsport use aswell as normal road vehicles so have varying grades), or something like Valvoline durablend.

wrong wheels is the reason they're hitting the arch, the offset is incorrect. i assume they were put on when they arrived in the uk, if not, then just get new wheels anyway, they're obviously too far out. sustec pro's are coilovers, you can change the height but not the rebound.

From Standard Suspension to Lowered Suspension
ecksjay replied to DavidAshton's topic in Chassis & Suspension
it'll be the stock shocks being the reason why its bouncy. if the shocks were designed for the new spring rate, it'd handle lovely and be perfectly behaved, but its not, so its far more harsh than it should be -
soon as s14's go slightly lower, the rear camber goes to pot. mine's prob on about -10 degree camber whilst only being 25mm lower, its hilarious

use a different insurer then, someone who specialises in imports. it wont be cheap whatever happens, and if its insured as a GL, then it isn't insured, simple as

those tyres must be a little low/crap if its slipping out like that either that or its just one of those surfaces, ultra slippery like. looks like a nice wide bit of road that, plenty of run off, wouldn't mind having a scream down that in the S14

that manifold is larger than the moon :/ seems a bit pointless and OTT on the CT9, but whatever floats your boat, you are a crazed idiotic student after all. also, why have you replaced the panhard rod with a.....panhard rod? how does it differ? will it provide you with anything different to the whiteline?? you sir, are an odd person. and that is why i love you. lets spoon. -

Stevie, you could say that i am, yeah.. http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showforum=130 Mine and ricks little venture, let me know if you need anything. Yeah the response on them is fantastic, i was very pleasantly surprised. I still smoked it at stock boost above a ton, but the response was mental up until then, certainly could catch many people out. -
they haven't even been made yet you nub.

haha, my mate terrorised one of these in his stock glanza, they really do suffer from being a bit heavy, especially round the bends. comfy buggers though, definately a nice cruiser.

proper left foot braking induces oversteer, if you're just squeezing the brake then you're not really doing much at all, except slowing yourself down

i'd give it a run bloody fwd's. puts out a similar performance to the TTE Compressor Corolla's then. my friends just got one, goes alright from about 0-100, instant performance is crazy on them, seems to pull in any gear, whenever you want. also, 'ELINOR'??? is that supposed to be the name of the shelby mustang from gone in 60 seconds? if so then its spelt very wrong -
Firstly, who's setting up the RRFPR and FCD? If you dont know what you're doing, then it has to go on a dyno with wideband and someone who knows what they're doing to set it all up correctly. also, show us a pic of the engine bay, we can see if the OEM boost control solenoid is there.

i know someone who will want those wheels mate, as i had a set on my old car, and the new owner wants to get a set back. by the way, they are FAR better than the rota's you're replacing them with, as rota's are fucking shit. horrible horrible wheels. the ones you're taking off are very good wheels, and for good reason send me your number and email via pm and i'll pass it onto the guy who wants them. he'll definately have em. also the rubber shit on the roof is where the aerials were fitted to it in japan (they use big aerials for the sat nav kits etc). You should remove that (CAREFULLY) a

the piping is just a bit of ali, and the cores are all generic ones from china, so providing they fit they'll all do the same job
