for the money to recon it (the Blitz refurb kits were discontinued a few years ago) you could buy a much better, custom built hybrid, which will perform better and last longer than any K1, and will be far superior to the likes of the tonka toy hybrids available from thailand, someone like turbo technics could make you a new one for about a grand (if someone was charging 1200quid for a bloody k1!!).

its all about the alcantara also, that little bracket goes inside the handbrake surround, not outside of it, its that bracket that the actual arm rest brackets bolt into that holds it solid, you just gotta squeeze it to get the surround over the top then it'll pop in, and you bolt everything else to it as appropriate. thats how it worked in my head when i trial fitted one before anyway, as mine already had that bracket in but the arm rest itself had been pilfered on the boat.

apart from looks, you may well notice problems rather than improvements as joz said. unless you're a regular track attendee then it may not be worth it if it does indeed cause problems, although you could always try it and see as they arent expensive.

if the market is there dane then go for it, there's alot of kit about nowadays so it may be best to confirm with deposits to begin with, otherwise you'll suffer what alot of group buys already have and be stuck with lots pulling out. good luck.
