  1. Cool, I'll get on the case. Anywhere in particular I should buy them or just head to my local Halfruads?
  2. Went to see Dean last week, to pick up some bits. Great guy to deal with, highly recommended seller. Loved his Orange Beast too Thanks man!!
  3. Can anyone recommend a good starter tool kit to work on my GT? I don't trust any local garages, so my mechanic mate usually does all the work on my cars, but recently I've started to have a go at things myself, with random tools I've acquired over the years, which has been mega difficult at times. So I was thinking maybe I should get a tool set to make these jobs easier, and learn more about the car in the process. Any suggestions?
  4. As said above, get a good alarm system fitted with some proximity sensors. Depening on what you or the alarm fitter program it to, the alarm would give a pre warning beep if anyone comes within a specific distance to your sr, then the alarm will go off. My choice would be Toad though. Cliffords are good at what they do, but when you go wrong they go WRONG. Also think about getting an anti hijacking system too. Work really well, as unless the fcker stealing it knows where the switch is and deativates it ....the car will simply cut out...and wont start. HTH
  5. Lol tell me about it mate...pain in the ass to say the least.
  6. Thanks for the quick replies. I ve take off the door card, but not taken out the old motor etc yet. Is there anyway i can just remove the motor or do i have do i have to take out the whole mechanisim and take the glass out.? Its been a while since last replaced one on my swift gti...... So feelin slighly lost :s
  7. Hi guys, I m in the process of swopping out my drivers side elec window motor for a replacement. Thing is the old one is still getting power to it i think - When you press switch you hear it - but the window won t go down. Could the mechanism be seized? If so can i fix this or just replace the motor? Thanks
  8. Thanks mate. Was on the look out for an aluminium one, but this has been offered for free, so thought i d double check first.
  9. A mine of mine offered me an oem ek9 civic type r rad today? Its a dual core rad from what i can gather. Will this be ok to use on my TDO4 GT? I dont plan on doing any track days or anything, the cars just a weekend toy. Thanks

  11. Here are the rims I've got peeps. Can take some closer pics to give you a better idea if need be. As you can see the spokes are ok, its mainly just the corrosion behind them, and the curbing on the outer rim. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-MR2-Alloy-Wheels-Original-OEM-15-With-Tyres-1-8-VVTI-/191059831694?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&nma=true&si=I%252B6ieLBZq%252BhkBnm13gHR02z6PXA%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

  16. What are the aeromotive ones like noise wise, compared to the walbro ones?
  17. Cool..how do they compare to the above pumps.
  18. Thanks. How long have you had it fitted? What engine setup have you got? Any issues so far?
  19. Looks like I'll just have to grit my teeth and bare the walbro whine, nnless The dudes from Tuning Developments can convince me otherwise? Got a link to any of these?
  20. Just piecing together my last bits to go td04, and kinda of unsure which Fuel Pump to go for? The high pitched whine of the walbro used to be pretty annoying on my Old Gt. So I'm swaying more towards a TD one instead. I was just wondering if there was a big enough difference in the noise between the walbro and the TD pump? Thanks
