  1. Nice gt mate. Love the stance of it..looks really agressive. What rims are they? And what profile tyres?
  2. Bumping this up peeps. Driven my GT a couple of times, and feel like I'm sat on stilts lol. Is there anyway I could fit lower seat rails also? Also, if I buy afermarket seats, and modify the stock rails, would the seat be able to go further back then stock? Never done this before, so any help/pics would be appreciated.
  3. Seriously love these.....Nice car man!. Whats it like to drive compared to your Glanza?
  4. Cool....cant wait to get it fitted.
  5. Struct a deal with Flint so all sorted now. Always wanted one...best sounding bov by far. Doesnt matter about the nut not being oem greddy does it?
  6. x2. I thought it was all about straighline speed until I got my EK9. Nothing beats a well setup car, thats quick in a straighline, but can also perform in the twisties.
  7. Will do dude. Thanks again for the link
  8. Thanks man, but its slightly out of budget. Missed out on this one yesterday: http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/77424-greddy-bov/?hl=greddy
  9. As above guys. Missed out on one yesterday. So on the hunt for another one. Let know what u got!
  10. Welcome in man. Really nice car and those seats
  11. Just swop them with my mr2 rims man..... and I'll have the bent volks...problem solved You do look mint though like you said. Yeah I'll drop you a text and keep you posted man
  12. yO Dean. My mate who works at Jag said that they use these guys: http://www.prestigewheels.co.uk/alloy-wheels/ Not the cheapest but said they're pretty good. I'm heading to see my other mechanic mate - dude you spoke to on the phone the other day- next week, so I'll ask him and see if he knows of anywhere.
  13. Just a quick one. Those that are using this BOV, have you got the lower nipple connected? If so what have you got it connected to, and do you notice any difference in performance with it connected vs not connected? Thanks
  14. what is the lower nipple meant to connect to?
  15. Thats the thing, I would only be using my tools once every other week when I have the time. So wondering if I'd really make use of all the tools in the Halford kits you posted?
  16. Everyones different I guess. I met some Brits out there that were happy to head back home after there visa had expired, where as others had no intensions of coming back.
  17. I had a family emergency, so I to come back, otherwise I would have stayed there without a doubt. Really nice country...nothing like what we see here on the TV. Sydney is quite cosmopolitan, diverse and really fast paced....similar to London...but obviously a lot hotter and has awesome beaches. Brisbane is more chilled out though....still mega cool. If you get the chance to go man, do it, you won't regret it. If you're under 30, you could always get a 12month Working Holiday Visa, and head out there to see if you like it first. Tonnes of Brits out there too. Better paid jobs, better li
  18. Thanks for the info guys. I'm swaying more towards the halford kit, but would something like this suffice to get me started:? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Halfords-Phaze-52-piece-Mechanic-Tool-Set-Popular-Imperial-Metric-sockets-/271325878370?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item3f2c485862 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Halfords-48-piece-Stubby-Tool-Set-/121267856188?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item1c3c20a33c Then obviously axle stands and a jack as suggested ??
  19. Good choice. Sunshine Coast is amazing. You been before?
  20. Where abouts in oz you thinking? I lived in Sydney for 7 months and the import/ modifying scene was really big out there. Didnt seem to be any reatrictions on modding cars etc. Not too sure about MOT laws though
  21. It usually says on the box man. My old d2s were 10kg and 8kg iirc
  22. Thanks mate. I've always been there to help when others have worked on my car, but finally wonna give it a go myself. Like you, other have said they're quite easy to work on, as long as you have the right tools.
  23. It was you that got me thinking after Friday lol. My mechanic is like an hours drive from me, so thought it maybe time to have a go meself....fingers crossed I don't break anything lol.
  24. Cheers....and that kit should have in everything I need?
