The wheels are no probs -- don't pay anyone to do that!! It's just like changing a flat! Changing springs on the other hand... it's ok to do yourself if you know what you're doing! You'll need spring clamps too! My mate forgot his one day when we were doing a pals. The spring nearly took my mates head off and that's no exaggeration!

How do you plan on going about that mate? Are they split rims? I wanna get mine professionally refurbed after the winter but can't find anywhere that advertises the fact they refurb anodised wheels Plus don't know how they'd seperate the black spokes from the red rim

I think if they were cheap then they'd make a good set of winter wheels keeps your polished rim from corroding in the winter!!

A little background firstly: The shop was quite empty this morning so I was just having a little chat with the customers and tidying up, then I saw a guy going to park in the space between my car and another car! I thought to myself: "he's going a bit quick... hope he doesn't bash my car! because he's awfully close" Then the next thing you know, where any other person would brake... this guy jams on the accelerator, jumps the kerb dyke, across the very busy main road, luckily avoiding any traffic, straight through a metal railing, across some grass and through a brick wall eventually landing in some guys garden across the street!!! I was amazed at what I saw, especially because he was about an inch away from my car just before he jammed on the accelerator!!! Here's a little pic from 5 min after... it was the space that the focus is parked in where the guy went crazy! (the guy in the ficus can be excused for being parked like a corner kick because he ran across the road to check if the man was ok -- who you can just see getting out his car in the pic!) Oh well RIP 56reg Yaris!
