1. I won't forget -- just been dining with the girl after work, then working till 6.30 tomo so I'll have a shot at them then mate.
2. I think Phil deserves a new sig Maybe once I've got a day off next week!
3. Resolution basically needs to be as large as you can make them! Mine are taken at 5.1MP or an on-screen resolution of 2592x1944 -- maybe half of that size as a bare minimum for the main pic -- coul probably go a bit lower for the 3 sub-pics It just means when printing it doesn't come out pixelated on paper!
4.
5. Overboost is basically when you near the factory set fuel cut limit -- 0.93BAR(approx) If you go over this point you'll hit fuel cut unless you have an FCD installed. As paul says, get your fuelling mods sorted before turning up the boost. If you're going over fuel cut you'l need a higher flowing fuel pump, RRFPR (rising rate fuel pressure regulator) or some other device to add fuelling.
6. Yep if you can get a hairdryer to the bumpstrips that'll soften the "glue" and you can pull them off with your hands. Then use petrol or tar remover as mentioned to take off the sticky residue. The only prob you might have is if your car has had a re-spray at some point and they masked into the bumpstrips -- this might leave a ridge. If it hasn't then you'll be fine.
7. If you don't have access to a welder -- chap a smaller socket onto the bolt and try that.
8. No that's about right mate: LO boost mode should run about 0.35BAR HI boost mode should run about 0.65BAR It could be where you've plummed in your gauge. The fact it's holding that boost all the way through the rev range is actually quite a good point. It means you're not suffering from boost creep and it's building full boost quickly. Right now since I've fitted my FMIC (due to the slightly longer piping and pressure drop across the core) I'm only running 0.3BAR in LO though.
9. I'd basically say it means Well Done! Also seen GG creeping onto the forum... which I used to use when playing online FPS'ers meaning Good Game, or well done
10. Well that's the plan -- I was gonna make a mock-up of the calendar to show what it could look like... then suggestions ahoy! As there'll be a few blank pages I was gonna use them for a couple of secret squirrel ideas I had! Gonna check with Geo about them first!
11. The UKSC calendar? It did my friend The TGTT one... I can understand, there was a lot of other nice cars and well composed pics. Still don't know how the photo of a photo one got in though! It was pretty poor quality in the small pic they posted up in the pole! If it had been the original the fair enough, good pic!
12. You could make up a pole with all the variations of sigs I gave you mate Nah, it was my pleasure mate! Sometimes photo's just work quite well into sig's!
13. Not updated this thread in a while although you've probably all seen the pictures on other threads: I hope that's not photo overload
14. I think this will be where the game ends then... taking photo's of chavs usually does that to any game!
15. I've got a bloody bus steering wheel on mine!! Well it's a Nardi Tourino~ it's not bad really!
16. I've voted for a little balance as so far in the calendar we have: 7 Glanzas 2 GT's 2 NA's I like the idea of having a selection of cars on the front cover but it will be hard to make something look good out of probably 3 totally different photo's if you know what I mean? For the back a montage shouldn't be too hard -- I've got a couple ideas which could be funky? Does anyone reject the idea of the calendar starting in feb and ending next feb?
17. I was gonna turn the skin to Orange to see what your sig looked like against it but there's no Hendrix theme anymore?? Oh well it'll need to be changed! Stubby Cars will be all the rage soon! I like to call them SWB (short wheel base) starlets like Norris Designs EVO Some of my other efforts Though as you can see -- the less side on the pic the less it works! ================YOUR INBOX IS FULL AGAIN JOZ=====================================
18. I've been wanting to get some for a while -- but I'm a bit paranoid it'll make reverse parking at night a lot harder as I have t do this a lot!
19. I dunno where my others votes have come from -- got more votes on this one pic than all three of my pics in the TGTT calendar vote... and there was hundreds of votes on that one!!
20. Nice boxers oli! Cools pics Scutch! I love mutlistoreys
21. Empty your inbox my good man
22. I persoannly thought a couple of your previous sigs were well cool!! Just not that one you've got the now
23. Never encountered 6" fords across the road but my credo is to attack it with enough speed to create a bow wave and get through the other side without any leaks -- worked so far!
24. No it was a brand name -- must've gone bust because I'm sure they were called alligator grip sockets or something... the socket had like hundreds of pins it it and as you pushed it onto whatever you wanted to take off; rounded nuts etc it woukd form an impression from the pins... does noone know what I'm talking about??
25. Woohoo As regards the fact it'll be feb before any one buys it: Who's to say our calendar needs to start in January?? Since we're making it I'm sure we could have it run feb to feb, bit unconventional but...
