Where you told by a swift owner per chance?
-
If that's true, wait till you see a jakey looking ned with a buckled passenger lock and break his legs - It's bound to be him
-
Factory figures are usually quoted at the fly, they actually "dyno" their engines and not rolling road the cars.
-
Heh... that's a reaction Xander got his prodrive decals for his mudflaps there £8 or something so including the flaps he was £55 cheaper than the real things and they're identical. I know the guy you mean now though
-
I don't think so mate. an EBC would mean you lose it, but some have a dual setting anyway.
-
That the guy from UG Wullie? He is pretty reasonable!

As with all coilovers you adjust the height by screwing up/down an "adjustor ring" (for want of a better description) along a threaded tube: Thus going lower will compress the spring a little, and raising the car has the opposite effect. In the pic above, the adjustor ring is the purple bit in the middle of the coilovers(touching the bottom of the coils). Coilovers are really meant for track use, as you can if needed for a certain track raise/lower the car to suit. For a road car you'll probably just pick a height that suits you and stick with it- unless for shows you wanna slam it that ex

They could be those ghey led windscreen washer jets, but on the wings? [PUB FACT] Did you know: those windscreen washer jets were actually first used by lorry drivers - but not as washer jets, instead they were used inside the cab and pointed onto the windscreen to reduce glare. Little chav mothboys just loved the pretty blue lights and decided to mount them completely the wrong way about and start probably one of the most horrendous fads ever! [/PUB FACT]

I was gonna suggest that G, but wasn't too sure where it had gone - so didn't wanna sound stoopid!
-
What are these silver things on the wings?
-
Yeah, looks good mate! I'm gonna suggest keeping that second pic for reference should someone ask about fitting a glanza bumper/bonnet to an NA EP91 - Didn't realise the extent of the difference myself.

I think the rough finish on the carbon would've given it that "wangan racer" feel. But the painted finish looks ok too. Only thing I'd be concerned about is the boost gauge being that low; is it not hard to watch?
-
I thought after getting the hole ripped out of him for the last couple of pages he deserved a little help Would've preferred him to have spent half an hour doing it for himself though. It only took me a little bit longer than that to do it (including writing all the code for the post and pasting links)

??? What's fake? looked back up the post but don't get it

Sorry mate but there's been a bunch of stuff posted about this elsewhere... no point rehashing old posts... But since I'm a kind fellow: Some Ideas; Wide Bodykit Some German Kit Aftermarket Glanza Bumper Couple of nice kits MS Designs Bodykit Some Links; Show-off Imports GT Autostyle HRF Kit @ Takakaira.com Tom's Kit @ Takakaira.com Varis Kit @ Takakaira.com Live Sports Kits @zep-rm.com Sure there's more but hey I've got other things to do with my time... well not really but it's the principal

Think we're waiting on Geo coming back... from where he's away to
-
My favourite... And I've heard they're more spacious on the inside than they look too
-
I think he wants people to list web addresses and contact details for all the companies he needs to make his car into a beast! Personally I'd spend a half hour doing it for myself instead of asking people to spend a half hour doing it for me! Especially when there are a lot of links already posted in the forums. But yeah the topic's really all about the shed

Have to hold my hand up and say the wee yellow starlet looks pretty good in the dark... I saw it at a cruise we were at at the end of last summer. The skirts are a bit stinky looking though!
-
I can't imagine who it would be-- only a few people would have a ukstarletclub.com window sticker... and you'd imagine they'd be on here regularly?? Can I just ask is it a series1 or 2 rallye you have? The series 1's were 1.3's aswell and put out 100bhp if I remember rightly? The series2's Had the 1.6 8v and put out 105BHP -- A standard Glanza or GT should still have you though I'd imagine because they're about the same weight. Compare that to a standard starlet 75BHP SR you'll have a clear advantage.

Very good!

Da Ding Ding ding Ding Oh no - Crazy frog all over again

If it's anything like the stuff that was on my mates Jordan when he got it, it's horrendous looking gel stuff... and it peels on hot days.

I quite like the low level spoiler. But a slightly bigger one would be cool, it would compliment the front bumper. Just don't go overboard and get a big hoooooj supra spoiler or anything like that. Something like the S13TypeX spoiler maybe? P.S. It looks a bit odd in that photo.

Cheers mate. The DTA Pro8 management system that my mate used in his white CS had anti-lag, sent the willies up anyone behind him that was trying to noise us up But yeah, does damage to just about eveything on the exhaust side of your engine. P.S. Nice to see some referencing- keeping it legal ;)
