Didn't have a chance to inspect with wheel off but top nut is tight
-
Thanks Adam. Just been to two mechanics and they're stumped on general inspection. Prying the wishbone and arb (without any dismantling) doesn't seem to be causing any noises or excess play. Also they said top mounts don't have play in them (Grant said the same when he took a look a few weeks ago). I'll be having wheel off tomorrow to take a proper look and maybe check top nut today. Car is really testing my patience wanted to book a track day for next week but it's not looking good. Oh and I'll try my best to capture it on video. Went out earlier and for the first time I managed to get th

Yeah Adam, the whole car apart from rear box mount. The front suspension ones have been on for a year or so. I'm not sure whether the sound these would give would be the same as a squeaky rear ARB? Because it doesn't sound like that On the wishbone there's whiteline alk and I believe the other two are Superpro

Sorry before I forget, the preload on the front is a fair few full turns (perhaps 6 or so) higher than it should be. But I wouldn't have thought that would cause a noise?

So having sorted a noise I was previously getting on hard lefts (that turned out to be the ARB). I'm left with another noise which I can't seem to identify. It's coming from the front passenger side and only on quite sudden or high load right turns. It happens only with a certain amount of lock, and goes away if I return the wheel towards centre. The sound is difficult to describe because either happens so quickly, I'll try to get a video if I can. It's kind of like a groaning/creaking/squeak that is loudest when the front left is compressed more. (So if it's a hard right on a bumpy Road,

I know they changed the formula doe Yellows a few years ago. Got a few Honda friends running them too and feedback is very positive. Mine are good too but yet to test them properly

Dangeestarlet's new red ep UPDATE SPEEDLINES
Amjad replied to dangeestarlet's topic in EP91 Progress Blogs
Were you selling the silver one? -
Don't bring this to Japfest. Same generation and wheels as me but in a lot better nick, it'll show me right up
-
Looking good, keep the roof silver. Try a fluid change first, Motul 600/660, cheap yet one of the best. Greens are pants, try yellow. Got them in mine with GT4s.

What pads were you running?

Will need to order one later this afternoon if noone has one available. Bump

I'll most likely be needing one asap, trying to repair the one I have but it's looking too far gone. They're £50 on Ebay but just putting feelers out there in case anyone has a good condition one available. Thanks Amjad

It's simple in an EP91, but EP82's have awkward wedge bulbs everywhere

Should be okay for me

Sort your tyres and brakes, trust me T1R's aren't good enough even on NA You've got coilovers on the way so that's a good start, but I'd do the above & RARB before the other things you've listed. >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oCVuZxkg0M >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-5Efu9XGpM

At uni all year so I can only really attend summer things

Thanks bro! I think it's deceptively photogenic, though Blackhole an Fusso are amazing products on dark colours! Just slightly Yeaaaah tracktime! (He says, car is clearly having other ideas lol) That means a lot to me David, thanks man! The simpler builds don't seem to get a second glance nowadays but I know what I want from my car, power is overrated Got a few updates to post when I get time! Both ups and downs as usual with old cars! Amjad
