Jay's track- fast road glanza v!!
Amjad replied to jayc-glanza17's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
NS2R are very stiff I've always been advised to run higher pressures at rear too, I thought that was the norm? -
This is such a cool build! I'd love to drive Tsukuba one day Where did you get the canards from? I've been looking for a set for a long time and those look perfect!
-
Mikey has
-
If it's that bad I'd check preload as described above
-
Definitely worth it, my CT9 actually has some top end now
-
Pretty sure ID-Workz sell them! If engine oil was that bad I can't imagine what the gbox oil is like. Mine looked like coke lol
-
Metal bushes make a nice difference, change out the gearbox oil too easy job
-
As Adam and Marc have said, brakes and tyres are the prority. Get some good fluid like ATE typ 200. Pads, yellows or Ferodo, Carbon Lorraine etc I run Nankang NS2R tyres which are a great track tyre for the money
-
Would that only work with the stereo on then? Have you tried the cig lighter wire or something?
-
No probs. I'm not sure to be honest, I've never had castor set specifically
-
Andy, A&A tyres in Cardiff charge an extra £20 to adjust castor last time I checked.
-
180 dude, seems to be the most popular choice Oh and the tread also measures up at 205 despite being a 195 tyre
-
Had a pair fitted yesterday and initial impressions are awesome! They inspire so much confidence from feel alone, makes the old Rainsports seem as thought they were made from jelly! Haven't even scrubbed them in yet but I'm very happy with my decision to go for these over Advans
-
Most probably preload, mine is also set a bit too high!
-
I think I did all of it, defo made it look better! Pics are in my NA thread I believe
-
Looking good! Reflet lights suit it well! One thing I did to my '98 spec lights was to spray the housing inside with chrome paint, think it would suit these too
-
Nice to see no date has been set yet, I'm down anytime after July 10th!
-
Quality numbers, hopefully not many cancellations!
-
^Agreed, mine couldn't take 0.8bar on a Mine's ECU (limp mode)
-
Saw the turbo posts, was that at fault? Would be good to see you on track with us, it us, session J is nearly all sold out!
-
No worries, they normally test 1 ft away from the exhaust at a 45deg angle at 4500rpm They only state a 105dB limit which I assume is static. But I'm guessing there will be a lower driveby limit on the day
-
Just paid for a +1
-
Good job, got the same % on mine. Wrap is a nice touch
-
Have you done a sound check yet? There's a few apps for it Dean might be able to make you a bung, failing that a bolt in silencer should do the job
