  1. miib14 has a 3SGE in his ex-4efe engined Corolla. Goes quite well, and would be great in an EP shell
  2. Sounds promising!
  3. Got NS-2R's in 180 treadwear on the way, meant to be awesome tyres especially for the price Parada, T1-R suck. Rainsport 3 are a good cheap tyre

  5. Haha, well played! Ordered myself a pair now to go on the front, rear Rainsports have quite some life yet!
  6. Yeah my fronts are still good for a month or two so that would be cool. Hopefully I can still get them for the cheaper price. How does the car feel on these initally?
  7. Looking good! Would you believe the tyres have gone up in price £52 to £64 now, trying to track down a set in Germany for the old price..
  8. Yeah been spot on man, so much more planted on road and track. I've left it as it is but might reduce the camber in the summer so as to get the back end sliding more
  9. ^Wet road performance and the delamination horror stories is what has put me off Federals Wheels would do the job sprayed black Mikey, function>form
  10. Courtesy of that dude^
  11. I hate Parada's with a passion, worst tyres I've ever used! Geo: Neutral toe, front camber: -1.5, rear camber: -2 (I did briefly run with some toe in up front and it felt very planted on track but it was killing tyres so gone back to neutral) Mods: Meisters, 24mm FARB, Adjustable RARB on stiff setting, front/3-pt rear/c-pillar braces, OEM LSD, ALK, full polybushing apart from engine/gbox, 195/50/15 Rainsport 3's (soon to be replaced with Nankang NS-2R's). Need to fit my Ultra racing 4-pt lower front brace..
  12. I hope it's the EWG!
  13. Exhaust is beautiful! I'd leave it as it is because once it settles in it will probably get a bit louder. I've bolted my centre silencer back in, maybe I'm getting old Quiet when pootling around but still loud when I want it to be though. And no worries for track noise regs
  14. Indeed, I've spoken to quite a few people running these now and they seem to be a safe bet. Also being used as control tyre in civic cup!
  15. Which Yoko's did you have previously? Think I'll be going for NS-2R in 180 compound. Just £52/ea!
  16. Think I'll be trying these in 180 compound. Just £52/ea!
  17. Mikey has been a big help to me! I contacted him about sorting my dodgy TPS. He had sent a TB with refurbed TPS and in the space of a few days had it over to me sooner than I could even schedule fitting it to the car! I got a lot of help with how to go about swapping bits over and fitting it up along the way. Couldn't be happier and car is running sweet again, thanks again! Amjad
  18. Get the ET20. Likely you'll still need to roll arches and trim liners unless you're running less than 195 tyres
  19. Are you running stretch on any of the wheels? These problems are why I got rid of wide fitting wheels lol
  20. Rear end feels way more stable with an adjustable panhard rod. I don't run liners either, it's often those that cause rubbing problems!
  21. *Update* Thanks again to Nick, got the car back after the changes listed above and the car feels a million times better! Lightweight flywheel has completely transformed the power delivery, the car does not stop pulling even on a teeny CT9b! Got a fresh alignment with neutral toe and R camber -1.4 L camber -1.5 and it feels amazing, so happy on turn in. Even for people not running coilovers I would recommend getting some camber bolts because of the impact it makes! I did however have a few niggles that have decided to rear their ugly head in the month the car turns 20! Spark plug oil seal and map sensor problem gave a weird misfire/engine turning off problem. Now sorted though thanks to Iddy for the parts once again! Had a chance to give the car a hand application of Black Hole and 2 layers of the legendary Fusso wax, I'll let the pics do the talking (no editing bar the plate) And a pic pulling onto the drive, stiff! Lastly, fitted my adjustable RARB to replace my fixed one (sorry no pic) With the setting on hard it feels amazing. Might be a bit too stiff for most EPs, but running 24mm FARB & quite aggressive camber out back I have a lot more grip so it now feels well balanced! If anyone is interested in the Whiteline fixed RARB gimme a shout! Amjad
  22. Thanks a lot man, very kind words! Thanks Matt! Do it fellas, so much fun!
  23. So an update on this, the morning after I thought the issue was fixed the car conked out again! Checked plugs because there was a definite misfire and the #3 HT lead was covered in oil! Spark plug seal at fault then, thanks to ID-Workz I've got a new cam cover set with spark plug seals and nut washers. That'll be going on asap, but car is sorted for now
