Nissan March/Micra 4E-FTE Conversion
Amjad replied to mas12555's topic in Other Motors Progress Blogs
Don't suppose you have a pic of said GT? Will be keeping my eye on this project, best of luck -
Need Jezza to do the LSD ones already, pretty sure mine need/will need replacing soon!

Mate has a K20 EG (was 220whp soon to be K24) that was mental. Same thing in an EP would be crazy

No problem! I take it the March items are very hard to get hold of? -
I was looking to the Omex systems but I don't really know anything about them really. If anyone has any experience with them please do post up

Cool project. Was it you who I gave the measurements for my 4pt brace to? -
Great to see a Starlet being used to it's full potential rather than being a dyno/show queen! I'd love to come down to one of the events at some point. Please keep us updated with how you get on, videos, results etc!

Running a Mine's ECU I don't really need to use the raised 8500rpm limit on a CT9 (lol) Was wondering if there are any safe (per se) rev limiters around? Heard the likes of Bee-R etc blow up engines... Should point out before anyone suggests it, that I don't want to switch to EMB/EMU at this point in time

I was aware that you shouldn't apply handbrake after pulling in so I'm pretty sure I didn't

Just a quick update, I bled the system at Xmas and it improved things, but still felt "off". Got a bottle of ATE Type 200 (thanks ID-Workz!) and flushed 900ml through the system after extracting as must as I could with a syringe from the MS. And it's pretty much back to normal! There's a slight bit of travel before the brakes engage but I guess that's pads running low? Marc can I just run through what you've said to make sure I've understood it correctly? I've replaced all the fluid now so that's cool. To get the last bit of air out if there is any: -Pump pedal until it's hard, leave it o

Nice find! I'd get some EP91 front arms and a Yaris rear one. Cleans it up to no end compared to the stock '82 bits

My bad! Not many people running K-Sports it seems
-
I think Wardy (username might be slightly different) is running K sport with grids dude. His build is in EP82 section
-
I like this. Glad to see someone doing it properly, brakes and handling before chasing power. As mentioned above I would go for some more sensible fitting wheels though.

RMS is what you want, but a head unit won't push out more than about 20w RMS
-
A few mates with Hondas running them, but I agree it must be hard to build heat in those conditions
-
I've heard they're still good with some heat in them if it's wet
-
They're all pretty crap. I use 6" comps and tweeters powered by an amp. Ripped out dash ones at first opportunity

How come you're selling it James? Are you after a quick sale? Dunno if you could hold it for me if I left a deposit?

I really wanna try the AD08R's!

MIKEY4410 1998 STARLET SPORTIF TURBO--rear cambered terror------
Amjad replied to mikey4410's topic in EP91 Progress Blogs
Fair few changes in here since we last spoke I think you'll like the bushess Mikey, I have a set of the limited run of pillow ball ones Iddy did and shifts are so much sweeter! -
I've run URS2's also, be good to see what you think of the compound and the massive increase in sidewall stiffness!

Nope I didn't, they fit very snugly with the "spigot ring"

Thanks for all the replies guys! Been busy with uni and don't have a lot of time to get on here much, but it's good to see the forum is as helpful as ever What disc/calipers are you guys running? I hear mixed stuff about the Yellows, but often the negatives are from people running stock discs/calipers and positives from those running larger setups. Saying that though there are two compounds as well! I was considering them because it might allow me to budget in a set of braided lines. I think the price on GT4 pads by Carbone Lorraine are £112, about the same as Ferodo. Are they any
