Glanzas replacement! C63 AMG - Update: 08/06
Amjad replied to A L 3 X's topic in Photography Gallery
Looking lovely in the new pics bro! I adore these cars, if you think these are Grandad go drive one lol I had a hoot of a time piloting an E63 AMG, only car I've found that has matched my GT for smiles per mile so far! -
For the price, you can't really go wrong!

Has anyone ever fitted ET18 offset wheels or less? Pictures?
Amjad replied to aaddzz123's topic in Alignment & Alloys
Adam my white wheels were 15x7 ET13, pain in the ass! They would probably have been fine with an arch roll and 45 profile tyres however! -
Amazing!

Interesting, thanks for sharing your experience with us Ed!

Very good, I'm pleased with mine! Great when they have a bit of heat in them, will be trying them on track in August!

Someone needs to write up a how to on rebuilds

Also I can't remember whether I've mentioned it, but it's worth pointing out that the ST165/early ST185s had Twin pots and 260mm discs. But it's the late spec ST185 that had the single pot 277mm discs.

I'll have to pass buddy, but thanks for the offer!

Personally I really want a side exit for flames, but knowing how often I get pulled round here, wouldn't be a wise decision lol

Have a look at where your lines are held onto the shock absorber, my car was rubbing it's hose too at one point. May be wise to double check if it's the specific kit you're looking at that replaces all 6 lines. I'm not sure if it's a specific brand that sells it or whether they all do the job. No worries!

Getting a silencer under the turbo would be difficult but I would presume a quiet exhaust and screamer would do as you say. Ie quiet off boost and loud on boost?
-
There's also 6 line kit, but I've been told that some 4 line kits are long enough to replace the 2 pc front hoses and 4 pc rear hoses.

Forgot to reply to this, my bad! I spoke to two people including Yick who posted above, that are running this setup before I went ahead and got my kit. They both said to take 1.5mm off the back of the disc so it sits centrally in the caliper. Whether that is necessary I don't know, but the brakes have been fine for me in 2 years Road use and two track days.

Sounds good man, we'll have to arrange a meet end of this month/July!
